Grant Gill (2023 C, Green Bay, WI) is a right handed hitter working from a crouched and slightly closed off stance. He works well getting the foot down early and has some fluidity through swing path. He’s able to stay consistent with a line drive barrel plane and works contact from gap to gap. He took one of the more consistent rounds of batting practice on the day.
Zion Rose (2023 C, Chicago, IL) works from an even stance utilizing a short leg lift trigger to remain on time. He displays high end bat speed for his age with strong hands at the point of contact. He is already a strong contact hitter with the power likely to come as he matures down the road.
Sam Harris (2023 LHP, Urbandale, IA) is a physically mature hitter in the box using his quick hands to stay compact to the ball. His best contact came when working to the pull side, though he displays the ability to work the baseball to all fields. He’s able to work through a naturally leverage plane pairing well with his bat speed to create hard contact to the gaps.
