Orange vs. Gray Highlights

Dillon Houk (2022 C, Liberty, MO) continued his hard hitting ways with two more hits in this game including a line drive triple to the left centerfield fence. He remains balanced in the box while showing soft receiving hands behind the plate as well.
Addison Smith (2023 SS, Liberty, MO) showed a loose, whippy arm stroke on the mound with quality present stuff. He has good pacing and tempo with a quick arm ad has a pretty good out pitch in a downer breaking ball too.
Kaleb Wise (2023 SS, Sedgwick, KS) showed good pitchability on the mound and can add and subtract with his fastball well on the mound. Wise has a solid breaking ball as well and has good stuff for a secondary arm.

Ashton Larson (2023 LHP, Overland Park, KS) has a very good mound presence with a clean delivery and arm action. He ran his fastball up to 76 mph with good feel for his pitches and gets good natural life as well.
Luke Presko (2023 3B, Weatherby Lake, MO) showed off one of the better offspeed pitches of the event with a late biting slider that worked up to 70. He locates the fastball to both sides of the plate at 79 mph and his two pitch mix is advanced for the age.
Harrison Bailey (2023 OF, Parkville, MO) is a physical righthander who worked his fastball up to 77 mph. The command of the fastball stood out with a good arm action and a projectable delivery.

Landry Hamm (2023 SS, Missouri City, TX) has sound fundamental tools in all facets of the game and turned in a hard hit ground ball single through the left side. He has smooth fluid actions with good hands defensively.
Tate McGuire (2023 RHP, Kansas City, MO) has advanced feel for the game and the barrel skills showed up again with a hard hit line drive to the left centerfield gap.
Dondreone Kennedy (2023 RHP, Fort Worth, TX) hit a long, well-struck fly ball that one hopped the wall out in left centerfield. Kennedy has good bat speed with feel for the barrel and power that will only continue to improve.
Batting Practice Highlights
5/11/2019
Jackson Downing (2023 SS, Kansas City, MO) showed nice bat speed and looked to hit the ball with a long and loose swing with good extension through the ball with a line drive swing plane. He's an aggressive hitter who is attacking the baseball.
Dillon Houk (2022 C, Liberty, MO) is listed at 6-2/195 and has some present strength for a 14 year old. He projects plenty of power in the future and drove some hard up the right centerfield gap.
Kaedon Diego Mas (2022 2B, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) has a smooth and easy swing that has some present bat speed with more to come. He looks like a polished hitter who's had lots of repetitions and was almost always right on time.
Tate McGuire (2023 RHP, Kansas City, MO) has a simple and repeatable swing from a low handed start that gives him some lift and uphill angle in his swing plane. He got carry on his best contacts, mostly to the pull side.
Dondreone Kennedy (2023 IF, Fort Worth, TX) gets coiled and loaded well before starting his swing and has quick hands working with his body to generate bat speed. He drove the ball well to the left centerfield gap.
Matthew Santana (2023 C, St John, IN) has good present strength and uses a very simple swing approach that enables him to square up the ball consistently. He squared up balls consistently in batting practice with some jump and did the same thing in his game at-bats later in the day.
Joe Connolly (2023 SS, Omaha, NE) is a young switch-hitter who looks like he has the tools to keep switch-hitting. He had better bat speed right handed in BP but took nice swings left handed in the games.
Addison Smith (2023 SS, Liberty, MO) was very similar to Joe Connolly in being a young switch-hitter who showed better raw bat speed from the right side in batting practice but who came out in the games and put some good swings on the ball from the left side.
Carter Beard (2023 C, Claremont, IL) has some strength in his 5-11/180 build and uses it well from and aggressive right handed swing approach.
Colton Wemhoff (2023 SS, Gladstone, MO) has quick hands and nice present bat speed while repeating his swing mechanics and timing very well. He drove the ball hard both in BP and in the games and really projects well physically.
Gray vs. Orange Highlights

Brex Caldwell (2024 RHP, Red Oak, OK) worked his fastball up to 83 mph while showing good downhill action, life, and mechanics. He mixed in a breaking ball too and also doubled hard down the pull side line in game.
Davis Nielson (2023 OF, Olathe, KS) has a smooth lefthanded stroke and gets extended out in front of the plate nicely. He showed the plate coverage with a flare to the opposite field that he hustled around to get to second base.
Tate McGuire (2023 RHP, Kansas City, MO) has a lot of good components that project well including a sound delivery, quick arm, and athleticism. He has good feel for a sinking changeup and generated good sinking action on a fastball up to 79 mph.
Dillon Houk (2022 C, Liberty, MO) continued to hit the baseball hard during game action with a well-struck single up the middle. He has immense strength through contact and can utilize the whole field with intent.

Matthew Santana (2023 C, St John, IN) has had a strong day of testing and continued to hit the ball hard in game. He hit a few balls right at guys but did so with strength and authority with good impact at the point of contact.
Kyler Spencer (2023 RHP, Conway, AR) has a very projectable frame with lots of room to fill out and a fastball that already works up to 77 mph. He repeats his delivery well and shows good feel for a three pitch mix with athletic movements.
Colton Wemhoff (2023 SS, Gladstone, MO) is aggressive in the box with a quick and easy trigger along with some controlled violence to the stroke. He rocketed a ball into the gap and was thrown out trying to extend the double into a triple.
Colton Wemhoff (2023 SS, Gladstone, MO) really did a nice job at limiting hard hit contact in a relief appearance as he tossed two innings with no hits allowed. O'Brien does a good job at throwing strikes presently with some feel for his entire repertoire.

Dondreone Kennedy (2023 RHP, Fort Worth, TX) is a good athlete and showed out well with a hard hit double down the left field line. He got the barrel out in front well and also was solid on the mound running his fastball up to 78 mph.
Dillon Houk (2022 C, Liberty, MO) is a physical righthanded hitter and hit a screamer to the pull side gap in game. He hustled around the bases for a triple and the ball jumps off the barrel head with a good amount of impact and natural leverage.
Tate McGuire (2023 RHP, Kansas City, MO) showed the barrel skills with multiple hits in game. He had a line drive triple that one hopped the left field wall to showcase the power along with the speed by beating out an infield single later in the game.
