4-Royal

Amari Maxwell (2028 SS, Pflugerville, TX) was dominant off the bump for Royal ramping it up to 80 with late life through the zone. Went to a curve with 10-4 shape and could land it at will. Showed that he has an idea on how to sequence and tunnel his pitches of each other. 

Sebastian Figueroa (2028 1B, Houston, TX) absolutely turned on a ball to deep right for a double that got to the wall. Big physical frame with plenty of juice in the stack. Ball comes off hard and can really impact it.

Carlos Tijerina (2029 C, Grand Prairie, TX) was on the barrel a good bit and collected two hits in game action today. Has a nice approach at the plate and can spray the ball all over. 

1-Green

Hector Garcia III (2028 C, Rio Grande City, TX) found himself a loud barrel to pull for a base-hit. Has a quick bat with a level swing. 

Logan Starnes (2028 RHP, Austin, TX) clobbered a ball the other way for a double into the gap. Has a good rhythmic swing in the box and stays on plane well. Quick set of hands with good ability to impact the ball out in front. 

Antonio Romo (2029 RHP, San Antonio, TX) found himself a loud barrel the other way for a big double to the gap. Smooth righty swing that stays level through the zone well.

Robert Adam (2029 1B, Houston, TX) tagged one to the right-center gap for an easy double and stretched it to thrid. Also pieced one the other way. Big left-handed power potential, can clear and impact the baseball at his age. This one carried. Strong BP showing, as well. 

Jayden Torres (2028 RHP, Spring, TX) roped one to the gap for a double. Finished with three hits. Put a real good swing on several and got the bat head out front. Worked solid ABs in the process and fouled off several pitches. Good showing on both sides. 

Urban Cason (2028 MIF, Murphy, TX) was on the barrel all day and roped one for a knock. Solid all-fields contact with some good hand speed at his age. Good at-bats and has a confident look in the box. Rangy middle infielder too.

Carter Laubach (2028 C, Lawrence, KS) big two-way showing all week and was up to 80 mph on the hill with feel for a short breaking ball. Good strength in his bat and the arm was really impressive on the mound or behind the plate. 

Brodie Smith (2028 1B, Norman, OK) put together a solid day on both sides. Was up to low-70s on the mound from the left side, one of the better breaking balls on Sunday. Pieced up the middle for a knock at the plate. Moves well for his size. 

Trent Costales (2028 RHP, San Antonio, TX) another loud day with two doubles. Big impact in the stick and a ton of size at this age. The strength he possesses has stood out all weekend. 

Deacon Arp (2029 RHP, Lubbock, TX) found a pair of knocks on the day and put together really strong at-bats. He makes consistent hard contact. 

Trent Costales (2028 RHP, San Antonio, TX) was dominant on the hill, puming up to hi-70s with a sharp curveball and slider. He pounded the zone at will and forced whiffs. REally impressed in BP, as well.  

Zackary LaBarge (2028 RHP, Conroe, TX) snuck one through the left side for a good piece of hitting. Worked a really long count in the process and put a good swing on one. Solid display at the plate and had two hits on the day. 

Logan Starnes (2028 RHP, Austin, TX) another arm up to high-70s on the bump and was dominant in relief. Good feel for a sharp breaking ball with good 11-5 shape. Put together a real good outing and added a sharp single at the plate. 

Ian Ault (2029 C, Prosper, TX) roped one through the six-hole for a knock. Good strength present in the swing and has some feel present. Really impressed in BP and it translated to game action. Solid behind the dish too. 

Adam Zarate (2028 TX) found a pair of knocks and really showed feel to go the other way. Took pitches where they were given and drove them. 

4-Royal

Braidyn Armstrong (2028 RHP, Argyle, TX) found himself a loud barrel to open things up for Royal going to deep left pull for a double. Has a simple righty swing and controls the barrel well. Showed that he can catch it out front with impact strength off the barrel. 

Carlos Tijerina (2029 C, Grand Prairie, TX) went with the ball well piecing up a loud single the other way. Stays short to the ball with a level swing. 

Daelan Brokenberry (2028 SS, Shreveport, LA) had a loud day at the plate collecting a pair of hits including a laced double down the left field line. Has a quick bat with good feel for the barrel.

Amari Maxwell (2028 SS, Pflugerville, TX) ripped a ball to the left-center gap for a barreled double. Smooth lefty swing that produces a ton of backspin. Quick twitchy bat that should continue to perform in game. 

Jose Manuel Melendez Ruiz (2028 C, Katy, TX) pieced a ball up to dead center for a laser single. Level swing with easy strength in the hands. Had a good showing in BP as well. 

3-Red

Jayden Torres (2028 RHP, Spring, TX) pulled the hands inside and scorched a liner to left for a base-hit. Has a quick bat with strength in the hands. Also pitched and struck out 5 during his outing. 

Brance Barron (2029 OF, Lubbock, TX) worked a pair of quality abs and was rewarded with a 3 hit game. Profiles well as a contact hitter right now and has shown good bat to ball skills making consistent contact. 

Adam Zarate (2028 El Paso TX) strong round for age with good barrels really worked it the other way and showed a short, quick swing. 

Hector Garcia III (2028 Rio Grande City TX) big strength on display with heaviness to the hands. Worked the pull-side gap with ease. 

Logan Starnes (2028 Austin TX) good all-fields contact with good extension , clean swing for age and has some rhythm in the box. 

Braylon Beard (2029 Melville LA) had consistent up-the-middle approach and was on the barrel. Good feel for his age and showed a solid swing. 

Ethan Ortiz (2029 Fabens TX) big strength and can clear the front side well. Made solid hard contact for age and there’s some quickness in the swing. 

Robert Adam (2029 Houston TX) big left-handed impact and strength showed. Big strength potential and sprayed it to both gaps. 

Chasen Foster (2028 McKinney TX) athletic swing with some quickness in the hands. There’s plenty of intent and more impact in the frame long term. 

Carter Laubach (2028 Lawrence KS) showed a lot to like, heavy barrels with plenty of lift to the pull-side gap. He can produce backspin on the baseball very well. 

Trent Costales (2028 San Antonio TX) good bat speed and strength on display. Solid feel to the pull side but also got the head out front and impacted some the other way. Impact showed. 

Luke Gair (2028 Covington TX) big left-handed bat and the impact showed. Can clear the hips and fire to the pull side. Lots to like in the frame long term, as well. 

Cohen Brunner (2028 Humble TX) very quick, athletic swing with solid extension out front. Quickness and intent to the hands, even turned a few to the pull side. 

Urban Cason (2028 Murphy TX) consistently on the barrel in his round. Worked it to all fields and gets great extension. Athletic swing with quick hands and loads of intent.

Carson Bazan (2028 Victoria TX) lots of whip to the barrel with some impact carry. Turns to the pull side and there’s some solid backspin, carry to his path. Easy whip to project on. 

Aiden Amat (2029 Yorba Linda CA) loud round for age with some real quickness in the hands. Got the head out front and impacted it real well to the gap. 

Amari Maxwell (2028 Pflugerville TX) advanced strength at impact. His balls carried to the fence in his round with the bat speed to match. Pretty electric hands. 

Jose Manuel Melendez Ruiz (2028 Katy TX) smooth operation with great rhythm. Easy parts and gets into both halves. Good round and worked the barrel best to the pull side.
