Amari Maxwell is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-4 155 lb. frame from Pflugerville, TX who attends Weiss. Medium, athletic looking frame with a high waist and room to fill out. Recorded a 7.40 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with sound footwork, some lateral agility and arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond during drills. Showed some fluidity and smoothness up the middle, worked through the baseball with good pace. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with some lower usage and medium stride out to foot strike. Deliberate pace to his movements, rotates quickly upon foot strike and generates present arm speed. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the majority of his outing, ticked up into the low-80s several times and topped out at 83 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with developing command, showed feel for spin with ability to land slurve shaped breaking ball and completed three-pitch mix with a slightly faded changeup. will continue to improve with proper mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Left-handed hitter that hits from an even based stance with a high, tight hand set and negative toe-tap trigger. Compact, line drive stroke with innate feel for the barrel, plenty of present bat speed and impact potential to the middle and pullside of the field. Will continue to expand power potential with additional strength. Consumate performer with advanced fundamentals and physical upside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
