Northeast Indoor-NY BP Highlights
2/26/2017
Nathan Curtis (2018 1B, Eliot, ME): Showed nice power to the pull field with a smooth stroke; doing a good job of consistently barreling the ball into the air with good carry.
Wesley Cuevas (2018 RHP, Staten Island, NY): Very physically strong prospect and showed that strength in swing, doing a very good job lifting the ball to the pull field with authority and very good jump off the barrel.
Justin Pelletreau (2018 C, Crofton, MD): Showed very quick hips into lots of torque generation, doing a good job creating power and strength. He worked to both gaps with good jump and definitely would have went out to the pull field a few times.
Jack Bulger (2020 C, Bowie, MD): Had one of the more impressive rounds of the day, showing lots of bat speed and strength and consistently drilling the baseball on a line and into the air. He has legitimate gap to gap power now as well as the ability to drive the ball out of the ballpark.
Dillon Lifrieri (2018 OF, Wilton, CT): Showed a very athletic swing with good momentum and fluidity throughout; very good bat speed overall, consistently drove the ball up the middle and to the pull field with authority.
Matt Morello (2020 C, Flemington, NJ): Showed really good bat speed onto a positive launch angle with smooth stroke, consistently drilled the ball on a hard line up the middle and to the pull field.
Jeremiah Ezekiel Peralta (2020 SS, Orlando, FL): Has very quick hands and showed a very quick, repeatable swing; does a good job driving the ball into the air and has the tools to hit for some serious power at maturity.
Jordy Batista (2018 3B, Yonkers, NY): Very physical kid with lots of strength; showed legitimate bat speed with the ability to drive the baseball to all fields, mostly on a line drive plane. Has HR jump to the pull field as well.
Darius Gilliam (2018 MIF, Bowie, MD): Super projectable body and bat speed, very clean hands with loose barrel; did a very good job of smoking the ball into the air with authority and projects for big time power as he continues to fill out.
