1- Columbia Blue
Griffin Prybil (2029, Bettendorf, Iowa) took a good round of BP swings, working gap-to-gap. He created separation well with a shorter path and some length through contact. He drove the ball well to the gaps and showed some barrel accuracy during the round.
Dayne Franks (2028, Orion, Ill.) worked gap-to-gap early on in his round and then turned to a pull-side approach to finish off the round with some louder swings. He drove the ball with authority and showed good jump off of it. Clear bat speed and barrel accuracy made for some loud swings.
Eli Egger (2029, Davenport, Iowa) took some good swings working pull-side, and also shot a couple line drives backside. Egger showed feel to lift the baseball with hard-contact in the air. Egger had some strength in the frame and put together a good round of swings.
Payten Downing (2027, Milan, Ill.) took a loud round of BP swings, showing feel to create separation, with length through contact. He throws the barrel head well and can impact with good strength and some bat speed. Downing hammered the ball during his round of BP swings.
Brysen Gott (2029, Davenport, Iowa) took some loud hacks during his round of BP swings. He was able to impact with hard-hit contact in the air, showing some feel to lift and create leverage. Gott did damage with barrel accuracy, and some feel to lift.
Lucas Herrell (2027, Bettendorf, Iowa) was able to impact the ball well, producing hard-hit contact and having a great round of BP. He showed feel to leverage the baseball, lifting out in front, with some length through the zone and barrel accuracy to do damage.
2- Gray
Lucas Patterson (2029, Leclaire, Iowa) swung the bat well from the right side during BP, putting together a good round of swings. He was able to leverage a bit during the round and produce some hard contact out front. He showed a good feel to turn on the ball and worked pull-side with authority.
Cayden Angaran (2027, Moline, Ill.) put together a good round of swings during BP, with good bat-to-ball skills, and plenty of feel to impact the baseball and drive it. He had good bat speed and plenty of feel to work through the zone with authority. He worked the entire field during his round of swings.
Holden Loy (2029, Leclaire, Iowa) worked pull-side during BP for some good results, lifting the ball out in front. He had some bat speed and whip through the zone, with feel to drive the ball and show good bat speed. Loy has a loose and quick right-handed stroke that showed well during BP.
Aiden Northup (2028, Davenport, Iowa) took some good hacks during BP, with his best results coming when working pull-side. He had some strength with good length through contact. He flashed some barrel accuracy as well with a couple of loud swings during the round.
Andrew Pavlik (2029, Coal Valley, Ill.) took a loud round of BP swings, with good barrel accuracy working back up the middle. He showed good strength during his round of swings, with the best results coming when working back up the middle and pull-side. Pavlik has projectable actions in the box.
Braydin Wyers (2029, Davenport, Iowa) took one of the better BP rounds of the day, spraying hard contact all over the field. His best results came back up the middle and pull-side. Wyers had good bat speed, with a feel to be on plane each swing.
3-Navy
Brady Benson (2029, Leclaire, Iowa) took a great round of BP swings, showing a shorter stroke, with a functional and fundamental swing. He takes the hands to it with a compact path, and he was able to produce line drives to all fields, flashing great bat-to-ball skills. Benson has a ton of projection in the batter’s box.
Hayden Eilers (2028, Davenport, Iowa) put together one of the better rounds of BP on the day, showing a ton of feel to leverage and impact the baseball. He drove the ball and produced hard-contact all over, especially working pull-side. Eilers had some serious strength on display during his round.
Bently Caudill (2028, Davenport, Iowa) put together some really good swings working pull-side. He has a big hanging leg lift with hard turns and feel to lift the baseball. Caudill produced hard-hit contact with some lift and loft, working to right field.
