Dayne Franks is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 186 lb. frame from Orion, IL who attends Orion. Long and lean build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a slow paced delivery with a high leg raise start, cross body delivery with a low 3/4's arm slot, longer flowing arm action, gets into his lower half well coming down the mound. Fastball velocity plays up from tough angle with developing sweeper as a secondary. Foundation and frame to make strides with present upside. Secondary first baseman and also worked in the outfield. Solid footwork around the bag with good feeds on the turn. Light on his feet at both spots with clean gather to exchange. 7.48 runner in the 60-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, upright stance with deep hand load. Barrell whip through zone with pull side approach. Leverage and impact out front. Good student.
