Jalen Smith (2022 1B, Tampa, FL) hit a hard line drive single into LCF in his first AB. He made consistent contact and showed good bat speed. 

Benjamin Bernknopf (2021 RHP, Boca Raton, FL) was 2 for 2 on the day with a smooth, fluid swing. He also looked great behind the plate defensively.

Jake Dresselhouse (2022 2B, Highland, MI) crushed a ground rule double to the backside gap his last AB of the game. He has strong hands and power potential.

Cadmiel Pompa (2022 OF, Lakeland, FL) smoked a line drive single to the pullside in his first AB. He has great bat speed and a level swing.

Bryson Schramm (2021 RHP, Land O Lakes, FL) didn't allow a run in 3 innings on the mound and finished with 5 K's. His FB was up to 86 MPH and jumped out of his hand with some arm side run. He also mixed in a 10/5 CB with good spin and depth.

Randal Diaz-Morales (2021 SS, Toa Alta, PR) impressed defensively and offensively. He has nice, smooth actions at SS and looked very athletic. Offensively, he has quick hands and a balanced approach. He finished the day with a triple to the LF corner in his last AB.

Adrian Rodriguez (2021 SS, Salinas, PR) was 2 for 3 on the day with and displayed great barrel control. He made consistent contact with a smooth, fluid swing.

Justin Aron (2023 OF, Delray Beach, FL) crushed a double down the LF line his last AB of the game. He has lots of pop and with quick hands.

Taylor Tomlin (2023 OF, Edmond, OK) was up to 74 MPH on the mound with lots of run in 2 innings of work. He didn't allow a hit or run and struck out 5. He is a very projectable athlete.

Jaden Paradoa (2021 LHP, Port St Lucie, FL) showed great bat speed today with a lot of intent in his swing. He finished the day with a hard hit single in his last AB.

Jackson Tucker (2021 OF, Staten Island, NY) made consistent hard contact today and recorded a single in his first AB. He swings hard and runs well on the base paths.

Christian Soto (2022 3B, Kissimmee, FL) showed great bat speed and a good approach at the plate today. He made consistent contact finished with a hard hit single to RCF. 

Chase McKelvey (2023 SS, Saint Helena, SC) only allowed 1 hit in 2 innings of work. He has a live arm with great arm speed. He looked athletic on the mound and topped out at 82 MPH. He also mixed in a sharp slider at 74 MPH. He finished with 4 K's. 

Collin Donnelly (2021 3B, Boynton Beach, FL) roped a double down the pullside line in his first AB of the game. He has quick hands and a heavy barrel.

Xavier Casserilla (2021 3B, Haslet, TX) didn't allow a hit or run in 2 innings of work. He was up to 91 MPH and struck out 9. He works downhill with a clean, whippy arm. He filled up the zone with strikes and was blowing it by hitters.

Ryan Scarry (2021 OF, Miami, FL) was 2 for 2 on the day with a hard hit double. He uses his lower half well and hit the ball hard consistently.

P Alex Sosa (2023 C, Viera, FL) finished with 2 singles and 2 RBI's this game and can hit to all fields. He made consistent contact with a mature approach in the box.

Payton Burns (2023 MIF, Salina, OK) had a hard hit double down the LF line in his second AB of the game. He has quick hands and great bat speed.

Scott Edwards (2022 OF, Ft Myers, FL) hammered a double to right center field with loud contact. He is a great athlete and overall gamer.

Ben Vazquez (2021 1B, Tampa, FL) is a big and physical player. He showed off his quick hands this game with a double down the line. He is very strong with power potential.

Clay Patton (2022 SS, Westfield, IN) had a hard hit triple in his first AB of the game to the RF corner. He has great bat speed, quick hands, and is an overall very good athlete.

Blaydon Plain (2022 1B, Greenville, FL) was up to 89 MPH on the mound and filled the zone with strikes. He did a good job of mixing his pitches including his CB that has some bite. He maintained his velocity throughout the outing.

Justin Dambruck (2022 2B, Lake Worth, FL) was 2 for 2 on the day including a double to right center field. He has great pop with a lot of carry. He also looked athletic defensively in the infield.

Robert Gavlik (2022 RHP, McMurray, PA) short hopped the RF fence for a double in his first AB of the game. He has a good approach at the plate with power potential.

Gavin Brunsman (2022 3B, Alexandria, VA) crushed an RBI double over the LF's head in his first AB. He has quick hands and a smooth, fluid swing.

Drew Ferguson (2023 OF, Rockford, MI) smoked a ground rule double to LF in his second AB showing his power potential. He has strong hands and a smooth, fluid swing.

Radymir Rivera (2021 RHP, Juana Diaz, PR) was up to 84 MPH on the mound today and finished with 7 K's. The FB jumped out of his hand with some arm side run. He mixed his pitches well and consistently missed barrels.

Jack Pawlowicz (2021 C, Mars, PA) was on a tear today going 3 for 3 including a triple that was crushed to the backside gap. He hit the ball hard consistently and made loud contact. 

Hector Garcia (2021 C, Miramar, FL) had a loud double to the pullside gap in his first AB of the game. He has quick hands great bat speed.

Eli Maddox (2022 C, Orange Park, FL) has a lot of power and showcased it today crushing a triple to CF. He has great bat speed with lots of pop.

Jose Vargas (2022 SS, League City, TX) is a great athlete and finished the day 2 for 3 with a triple. He went with an outside FB and crushed it to the opposite field gap. He has quick hands and can hit to all fields.

Jason Culley (2021 OF, Wilmington, NC) was able to his hands extended and barrel up a ball for a double to CF. He gets good elevation on the ball and also impressed defensively with his strong arm in the OF.

Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz (2021 RHP, Trujillo Alto, PR) didn't allow a hit or run in 3 innings on the mound and finished with 7 K's. He looked comfortable on the mound and made it look easy. His FB topped out at 88 MPH while also effectively mixing in an 11/5 CB.

James Carraher (2021 OF, Lake Mary, FL) has a long and projectable 6-2/170 build that looks even bigger.  He has rhythm to his right handed swing to go with plus extension through the ball and plenty of present bat speed.

Cadmiel Pompa (2022 OF, Lakeland, FL) has strong hitter's hands, especially for a sophomore, and they are quick to the ball as well.  Getting more from his strong lower half could mean even more bat speed.

Tony (Osvaldo) Casanova III (2021 1B, Miami, FL) is a strong right handed hitter at 5-11/200 with a simple and direct hitting approach.  The Florida International commit showed lots of lift and carry to the middle of the field during his round.

Jackson Tucker (2021 OF, Staten Island, NY) has a solid athletic build with good present strength that he uses well to create bat speed and jump off the barrel.  He attacks the ball consistently and was well timed in his swing mechanics.

Drew Faurot (2022 SS, Tallahassee, FL) is a legitimate switch-hitter with a smooth and loose swing from both sides of the plate and especially from the left side.  The 6-1/165 sophomore was one of the most projectable hitters at the National Underclass East Showcase.

Jake Dresselhouse (2022 2B, Highland, MI) is a very good young athlete with twitchy actions and quick hands at the plate.  He created plenty of right handed bat speed and showed surprising pop and carry to the left centerfield gap for a young middle infielder.

Joshua Ramos (2023 C, West Palm Beach, FL) had a nice round and showed a very accurate barrel for a freshman, with very consistent mid-field line drive contact.

Justin Aron (2023 OF, Delray Beach, FL) is another freshman who showed nice hitting tools during his round.  He has some compact strength at 5-8/180 with a sound gather and an aggressive right handed swing that creates bat speed and some jump.

Logan Johnson (2021 OF, Pigeon Forge, TN) is a left handed hitter with a strong rotational swing and an aggressive hitting approach. He showed present bat speed and solid pull power, with projectable tools and strength to come.

Benjamin Murrell (2021 OF, Ocoee, FL) is a strong athlete at 6-0/180 with present bat speed and a nice loose swing that created jump and carry up both the left center and right centerfield gaps.

Liam O'Neil (2023, Ponte Verde Beach, FL) is a big young freshman at 6-4/222 and has the chance to be a seriously strong young man in a few years.  He wasn't consistent in his swing mechanics but when he was timed and squared the ball really exploded with big carry to the pull side.

Matthew Roche (2021 OF, Miami, FL) is a 6-1/180 right handed hitter with a loose and strong swing.  His simple load and trigger left him consistently on time and squared up with the ball.

Blake Cyr (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) had perhaps the quickest hands of any hitter at the showcase and really created outstanding bat speed and jump off the barrel.  The young Miami commit has a bright future ahead of him as a right handed hitter and overall athlete.

Brandyn Gonzalez (2022 OF, Miramar, FL) creates very good hand explosion at contact and showed big pull power while also showing the ability to stay behind the ball well and create carry to the opposite field gap.

Blaydon Plain (2022 1B, Greenville, FL) is a young Florida commit who creates some serious barrel whip and bat speed from the left side.  The 6-3/185 two-way prospect is extremely projectable physically and already has the ability to hit some serious rockets to the pull side.

Hector Mangual (2021 SS, Oviedo, FL) has a nice 6-3/175 build that stands out and has plenty of room for additional strength.  The Missouri commit has strong hands at the ball and creates plenty of lift with a loose and extended right handed swing.

Francisco Santiago (2021 3B, Cayey, PR) has a very strong 6-1/215 build and was timed up from the first pitch he saw during his round.  He has an easy, tension free swing that creates barrel whip and lots of mid-field lift.

Xavier Casserilla (2021 3B, Haslet, TX) had a huge game before coming over for batting practice and carried over that game performance well.  He's a strong 5-11/207 right handed hitter with a well controlled but explosive swing and a crisp line drive swing.

Scott Edwards (2022 OF, Ft Myers, FL) has a very well sequenced swing that comes together well to create bat speed and some gap to gap carry on the ball.  He's a young and projectable athlete who will continue to improve.

Baylor Edge (2021 1B, Monticello, GA) is a big young 6-3/210 left handed hitter who has a well formed power swing that serves his strength and power potential well.  He has nice extension and looseness through the ball with plenty of pull side lift.

Jose Vargas (2022 SS, League City, TX) looks the part with a very projectable 6-3/175 build and he has a loose and fast left handed swing that promises even more bat speed in the future.

John Sayres Jr (2023 1B, Leesburg, VA) has a very long and projectable 6-3/170 build for a freshman and showed the ability to repeat his timing and swing very well while creating some present bat speed and extension through the ball. He made very consistent mid-field line drive contact.

Jack Pawlowicz (2021 C, Mars, PA) had an excellent day at the plate going 3 for 3. He made consistent hard contact and also showed off some speed on the bases.

Blake Cyr (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) has power potential and showcased it with a triple that he crushed to the LF fence. He finished the day 2 for 3 with a smooth, level swing.

Liam O'Neil (2023 1B, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) made loud contact today with an RBI triple to the left center fence. He has power potential and a fluid swing.

Noah Walters (2021 RHP, Cordele, GA) showed very good command of his FB that he topped at 84 MPH. He also displayed a sharp 11/5 CB in the low to mid 70's. He didn't allow a hit or run in 3 innings of work and struck out 7.

Raul Torres (2021 SS, Caguas, PR) has a high motor offensively and defensively. At the plate, he has quick hands and had a hard hit single up the middle. He also looked very smooth at SS with soft hands and quick feet.

Luis Antigua (2021 SS, Santo Domingo, SD) has a short and simple approach and consistently made contact. He also showed good speed on the bases and quick hands.

Brandon Skorupski (2022 LHP, Wixom, MI) didn't allow a hit or run in 3 innings of work and struck out 9. He had great command and filled the zone with strikes. He also has a deceptive delivery that makes it tough on hitters. Offensively, he hammered a double to RF.

Luke Geske (2023 RHP, Sarasota, FL) topped out at 84 MPH on the mound with good downhill plane. He only allowed 1 hit and no runs in 3 innings with an on-line delivery. He was very confident on the mound and the velo stayed consistent.

Jose Vargas (2022 SS, League City, TX) has a short, compact swing and was very patient in the box. He made consistent hard contact and showed quickness on the base paths too.

Branson Owens (2021 3B, Rochelle, GA) was 2 for 2 on the day including a double down the LF line. He has great bat speed and also runs well.

Ivan Vega Santiago (2021 C, Caguas, PR) was 2 for 3 on the day including a pull-side double. He made consistent contact and always battled in the box. He was also aggressive on the base paths.

Auston Chisenhall (2021 OF, Bushnell, FL) showcased his smooth, lefty swing that is short and compact. He has pull-side pop and solid speed that he showed on his triple.

Ramon Rodriguez (2022 LHP, Caguas, PR) allowed 2 hits and 0 runs in 3 innings of work on the mound. He filled the zone with strikes with his 81 MPH FB and has a deceptive delivery that makes it tough on hitters. He has smooth, fluid mechanics and looked confident on the mound.

Adrian Rodriguez (2021 SS, Salinas, PR) has a great approach at the plate and made loud contact with his smooth stroke. He also showed some speed on the bases.

Benjamin Bernknopf (2021 RHP, Boca Raton, FL) only allowed 1 hit and 0 runs in 3 innings on the mound today. He has a clean release with a balanced and on-line delivery. He filled the zone with his 83 MPH FB.

Devan Mitchum (2022 OF, Gainesville, FL) made it look easy on the mound today not allowing a hit or run in 2 innings. He threw lots of strikes and showed good cut to his FB. He pounded the zone and mixed in his CH and CB effectively.

Jackson Tucker (2021 OF, Staten Island, NY) had a solid day at the plate going 2 for 3. He showed great wheels on the bases beating out a groundball for an infield single and then stealing second and third base in 2 pitches. He also has great range defensively in the OF.

Tony (Osvaldo) Casanova III (2021 1B, Miami, FL) crushed a triple to the backside gap showing power potential. He has a a smooth, fluid swing and quick hands.

Jacob Crews (2021 RHP, Winter Garden, FL) didn't allow a hit or run in 3 innings on the mound today while striking out 7. His FB was heavy with good downhill life through the zone. 

Connor Lee (2021 RHP, Manvel, TX) filled the zone with strikes with his 84-87 MPH FB. He has great arm speed and extension. He also did a good job of mixing in his CB and SL.

Blaydon Plain (2022 1B, Greenville, FL) is a big powerful lefty and showed off his power today with a triple. He is very athletic and has quick, strong hands.

Jordan Perez (2023 C, Hialeah, FL) had an excellent day at the plate going 3 for 3 including a double that was crushed over the LF's head. He has a smooth, fluid swing and made consistent contact.

Casey Knuckles (2022 RHP, Upper Saddle River, NJ) topped out at 81 MPH on the mound today with a FB that jumps out of his hands and creates lots of arm side run. He also mixed in his offspeed pitches very well. His CB showed 10/5 shape with tight spin and late depth. He also has a 72 MPH sleeping SL and 75 MPH CH that he used as an out pitch. He did a great job of attacking hitters and getting ahead in the count.

Xavier Casserilla (2021 3B, Haslet, TX) was 2 for 3 on the day with a pull-side double and a double crushed to deep CF. He has quick hands and overall very athletic. He also has great instincts on the base paths.

Carlos Alberto Rodriguez Velez (2021 OF, Bayamon, PR) has a smooth, level swing and can hit to all fields. He is very quick on the bases and great athlete overall.

Ben Vazquez (2021 1B, Tampa, FL) smoked a pull-side triple in his second AB of the game. He has lots of power and is short to the ball.

Francisco Santiago (2021 3B, Cayey, PR) was 2 for 2 on the day with 2 singles up the middle. He has strong hands with power potential. He made consistent contact and battled in both AB's.

Austin Williamson (2022 RHP, Denver, NC) didn't allow a hit or run in 3 innings of work on the mound. He has a strong, fast arm and used it to top out at 88 MPH. He was confident on the mound and made it look very easy. He pounded the zone with strikes and had good downhill plane. He finished with 7 K's.

Lane Essary (2022 RHP, Hickory, NC) showcased his whippy arm and high 3/4 arm slot on the mound. He only allowed 1 hit and 0 runs in 3 innings. He was up to 85 MPH while mixing in a 72 MPH CB. He is a great athlete and fields the position well.
