James Carraher (2021 OF, Lake Mary, FL) has a long and projectable 6-2/170 build that looks even bigger. He has rhythm to his right handed swing to go with plus extension through the ball and plenty of present bat speed.
Cadmiel Pompa (2022 OF, Lakeland, FL) has strong hitter's hands, especially for a sophomore, and they are quick to the ball as well. Getting more from his strong lower half could mean even more bat speed.
Tony (Osvaldo) Casanova III (2021 1B, Miami, FL) is a strong right handed hitter at 5-11/200 with a simple and direct hitting approach. The Florida International commit showed lots of lift and carry to the middle of the field during his round.
Jackson Tucker (2021 OF, Staten Island, NY) has a solid athletic build with good present strength that he uses well to create bat speed and jump off the barrel. He attacks the ball consistently and was well timed in his swing mechanics.
Drew Faurot (2022 SS, Tallahassee, FL) is a legitimate switch-hitter with a smooth and loose swing from both sides of the plate and especially from the left side. The 6-1/165 sophomore was one of the most projectable hitters at the National Underclass East Showcase.
Jake Dresselhouse (2022 2B, Highland, MI) is a very good young athlete with twitchy actions and quick hands at the plate. He created plenty of right handed bat speed and showed surprising pop and carry to the left centerfield gap for a young middle infielder.
Joshua Ramos (2023 C, West Palm Beach, FL) had a nice round and showed a very accurate barrel for a freshman, with very consistent mid-field line drive contact.
Justin Aron (2023 OF, Delray Beach, FL) is another freshman who showed nice hitting tools during his round. He has some compact strength at 5-8/180 with a sound gather and an aggressive right handed swing that creates bat speed and some jump.
Logan Johnson (2021 OF, Pigeon Forge, TN) is a left handed hitter with a strong rotational swing and an aggressive hitting approach. He showed present bat speed and solid pull power, with projectable tools and strength to come.
Benjamin Murrell (2021 OF, Ocoee, FL) is a strong athlete at 6-0/180 with present bat speed and a nice loose swing that created jump and carry up both the left center and right centerfield gaps.
Liam O'Neil (2023, Ponte Verde Beach, FL) is a big young freshman at 6-4/222 and has the chance to be a seriously strong young man in a few years. He wasn't consistent in his swing mechanics but when he was timed and squared the ball really exploded with big carry to the pull side.
Matthew Roche (2021 OF, Miami, FL) is a 6-1/180 right handed hitter with a loose and strong swing. His simple load and trigger left him consistently on time and squared up with the ball.
Blake Cyr (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) had perhaps the quickest hands of any hitter at the showcase and really created outstanding bat speed and jump off the barrel. The young Miami commit has a bright future ahead of him as a right handed hitter and overall athlete.
Brandyn Gonzalez (2022 OF, Miramar, FL) creates very good hand explosion at contact and showed big pull power while also showing the ability to stay behind the ball well and create carry to the opposite field gap.
Blaydon Plain (2022 1B, Greenville, FL) is a young Florida commit who creates some serious barrel whip and bat speed from the left side. The 6-3/185 two-way prospect is extremely projectable physically and already has the ability to hit some serious rockets to the pull side.
Hector Mangual (2021 SS, Oviedo, FL) has a nice 6-3/175 build that stands out and has plenty of room for additional strength. The Missouri commit has strong hands at the ball and creates plenty of lift with a loose and extended right handed swing.
Francisco Santiago (2021 3B, Cayey, PR) has a very strong 6-1/215 build and was timed up from the first pitch he saw during his round. He has an easy, tension free swing that creates barrel whip and lots of mid-field lift.
Xavier Casserilla (2021 3B, Haslet, TX) had a huge game before coming over for batting practice and carried over that game performance well. He's a strong 5-11/207 right handed hitter with a well controlled but explosive swing and a crisp line drive swing.
Scott Edwards (2022 OF, Ft Myers, FL) has a very well sequenced swing that comes together well to create bat speed and some gap to gap carry on the ball. He's a young and projectable athlete who will continue to improve.
Baylor Edge (2021 1B, Monticello, GA) is a big young 6-3/210 left handed hitter who has a well formed power swing that serves his strength and power potential well. He has nice extension and looseness through the ball with plenty of pull side lift.
Jose Vargas (2022 SS, League City, TX) looks the part with a very projectable 6-3/175 build and he has a loose and fast left handed swing that promises even more bat speed in the future.
John Sayres Jr (2023 1B, Leesburg, VA) has a very long and projectable 6-3/170 build for a freshman and showed the ability to repeat his timing and swing very well while creating some present bat speed and extension through the ball. He made very consistent mid-field line drive contact.
