5-Red vs 3-Purple Game Highlights >>

Micah Kovacs (2026 OF, Temecula, CA) Athleticism stood out in game two with a base-hit back up the middle.  Jumped on the mound and was up to 82 with a clean delivery.  

Leo DiMuzio (2028 OF, Los Angeles, CA) Athletic mover down the mound and starting for Purple.  Easy delivery with feel for the zone.  

Eyshen Kitagawa (2028 RHP, Hilo, HI) Caught a barrel to the pull side to squeak it through left-side of the infield for a base-hit in the the second for 3-Purple.  

Sei Nagashima (2026 OF, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) Followed up Eyshen's hit with a good at-bat, going to the pull side through the infield.  Cut down a runner at the plate in the 5th with a throw on the line.  

Aiden Vargas (2028 1B, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) Went to the backside for the hardest hit ball of the day for a standup double in the 5th.   

Brody Brehm (2027 RHP, San Diego, CA) Continues his hitting ways on Sunday going through the backside for an RBI single in the 5th.   

Braeden Casey (2027 OF, Spring Valley, CA) Caught a barrel to the backside towards the end of the game. Level barrel with feel.

Game Highlights: 1-Gray v. 2-Green

Colton Mossman (2027, Newport Beach, Calif.) put together a good outing on the mound, working up to 83 mph, with some feel to command the zone. He showed a curveball in the low-70s with a big 1-7 shape and depth to it. Also flashed a mid-70s changeup, with good depth. He kept the ball on the ground, or induced whiffs, and navigated his outing well. 

 

Caden Mossman (2027, Newport Beach, Calif.) working up to 81 mph on the fastball, holding the upper-70s with good feel to command the zone with good arm-side life and sink. Showed a good angle, with a real low slot and tough attack. He also flipped a low-70s curveball, with more lateral shape and depth to it. Clean release, added a few punchies along the way in his outing. 

 

Max DeLuca (2028, Napa, Calif.) showed off a smooth left-handed swing. Has a smaller athletic build. He displayed good overall body control in swing, keeping the head still and hands in a good position to execute his bat-to-ball skills. He was able to use his barrel control on a fastball away for a single to the opposite field. 

 

Ezekiel Pula (2028, Covina, Calif.) turned hard on one and drove it backside into right field, he came all the way around to third, driving in a run and doing a job. Smooth stroke with an aggressive move into it, showing some strength to impact it and drive it well. 


Ely Olesen (2028, Dana Point, Calif.) worked up to 80 mph on the fastball, showing feel to command it to both sides of the plate. He flashed feel to locate inside, and the pitch jumps out of the hand a bit. He had a feel to command the zone, manipulating & sequencing well.  He also showed a 1-7 shaped curveball in the mix and mixed in the occasional changeup with some dive. He had feel to pitch & commanded the zone well.
3-Purple vs 4-Royal Game Highlights  >>

Jack Kaplan (2027 1B, Los Angeles, CA) got the start on the bump for 3-Royal.  Long, lean, physical presence running the bastball up to 82.  Solid outing for the young right-hander. No hits and didnt allow a ball out of the infield and punched out five. He went on to double later in the game.  

Jaxson Neckien (2027 OF, Westlake Village, CA) Took the bump for 4-Royal going three and struck out 5.  Good outing for the right-hander.   

Cole Richards (2027 SS, Glendale, CA) barreled up a ball in the 3rd for Royal to the pull side.  Quick to the ball with extension through.  

Braeden Casey (2027 OF, Spring Valley, CA) caught the barrel to the pull side in the 4th for a base-knock.  

Luke Crysler (2026 C, Escondido, CA) Got himself in the boxscore yet again with another knock for 4-Royal.

Cole Richards (2027 SS, Glendale, CA) Went to the pull side for knock in the 2nd for an RBI base hit to get the bats going for 5-Red

Hector Rodriguez (2028 LHP, Commerce, CA) Athletic look on the mound getting the start for 4-Royal.  Pushed his outing to 5-innings, two-earned and punched out three.  

Austin Olness (2027 SS, Hermosa Beach, CA) Found the barrel on a consistent bases yet again today, driving in a run for 5-Red.

Brody Brehm (2027 RHP, San Diego, CA) Took the bump for 5-Red going two and only allowing two-hits and no earned.  

Luke Crysler (2026 C, Escondido, CA) Was on the barrel on Sunday, sending one deep to the pull side.  It won't show up on the boxscore but maybe a case for the best at-bats of the day.

Caden Mossman (2027 RHP, Newport Beach, CA) put together a good round of BP from an athletic 6-3 frame. Showed good bat speed that projects well and swings with intent. Strong kid with ability to really impact the baseball. Feel for barrel and control of it stood out. Had an EV of 91.

 

Colton Mossman (2027 LHP, Newport Beach, CA) showed good impact from a clean lefty swing. Uses a strong handload from an upright stance into contact and ability to lift and launch the ball stood out. Ball had some carry to it and swings with good rhythm. Hit in game as well as timing was good.  

 

Sebastian Boiles (2026 OF, Sierra Madre, CA) swung it with intent throughout his round and showed off a real power projection. Good balanced base from an athletic frame. Could really impact it to the pull-side and nearly left the yard. Bat speed was present and impact was evident. Ability to turn on the ball stood out.

 

Ezekiel Maurice (2027 LHP, Weiser, ID) massive 6-6 frame with good athleticism in the box. Showed a level swing path will ability to impact it out front. Hips work and turn hard through the ball with feel to leverage and launch. Should tap into even more power getting into his lower half more. Power projects here.

 

Luke Ohanian (2026 C, Rancho Mission Viejo, CA) had a good round of BP and was on the barrel a ton using the entire field well. Gap to gap liners to all fields and bat to ball stood out with good barrel control. Nearly left the yard during his round of BP. Also hit in game. Nice swing that creates length through the zone and can work to all fields.

 

Charles Tipton (2027 1B, Reno, NV) stands in at 6-2 from an athletic frame to dream on. Bat speed showed up during his round of BP and ability to impact it all over the field was evident. Works to the pull-side gap well and nearly left the yard. Strong hands with a direct swing path. Both power and hit project.

 

Braeden Casey (2027 OF, Spring Valley, CA) had a good round of BP showing some hard impact to the pull side and it’s easy juice off the barrel. Still hands that work through and to the ball well. Ability to pull the hands inside and really turn on the ball stood out. Bat speed present with impact. Good round in general. Both hit and power project.

 

Jaxson Neckien (2027 OF, Westlake Village, CA) was all over the barrel throughout his round of BP with legitimate strength at impact. Swings with good rhythm from a clean weight transfer and stays back on it well. Can leverage and launch with carry. Good bat speed. Power and hit on full display.

 

Cole Richards (2027 SS, Glendale, CA) showed good overall feel for the barrel throughout his round of BP with the hit tool standing out. Swings with good rhythm from a level swing path and gets through the zone quick. Good intent to the swing with impact. Can use the entire field well. Does a nice job staying short to the ball in general.

 

Hector Rodriguez (2028 LHP, Commerce, CA) showed off some easy juice throughout his round of BP from a physical frame. Lefty swing that rotates hard top half of things and can tap into the lower half well. Ball absolutely jumps off the barrel here especially to the pull-side. Good impact and bat speed. Power projects and its easy.

 

Matthew Bias (2026 LHP, Huntington Beach, CA) had a good round of BP from a well connected and powerful lefty swing. Taps into his lower half well and impact to pull and up the middle was evident. Bat to ball present with bat speed. Both power and hit project.

 

Jack Kaplan (2027 1B, Los Angeles, CA) towering 6-5 frame with good box presence. Showed good bat speed and easy juice throughout his round of BP. It’s easy juice from a low tension swing. Clean weight rock back into contact and keeps the weight back well. Bat speed present with ability to impact it to all fields. Strong kid. More power to come.

 

Nicolas Cigliuti (2028 C, La Crescenta, CA) put together a solid round of BP from a level swing path with good impact out front. Clean one hand finish and swing works through the zone well. Repeats the motions well and bat to ball should play in game like it did in BP. Can spray it all over the field with impact. Good looking swing in general with bat speed. Strong hit tool.

 

Micah Kovacs (2026 OF, Temecula, CA) massive 6-4 frame with insane physical projection. Loud tools across the board and produced an EV of 91. Just an overwhelming box presence in general. Showed plenty of bat speed throughout his round of BP with a clean weight transfer. Can absolutely impact it when on it and that bat speed will play. Good power to all fields.

 

Caleb Manness (2027 3B, Chula Vista, CA) was on the barrel throughout his round of BP swinging it with good rhythm. Bat to ball stood out with good bat speed. Consistently on time with his swing and front foot down. Barrel gets through the zone quick and in control.

 

Austin Olness (2027 SS, Hermosa Beach, CA) had a good round of BP and could impact it to the middle of the field well. Showed good feel to leverage a bit and could launch when on it. Ball carries off his bat when on the barrel. Strong kid and strength at impact should play.

 

Paul Shanabarger (2026 RHP, Temecula, CA) showed good ability to really impact it out front throughout his round of BP. Bat speed present with strength at impact. Showed a clean finish from a big athletic frame. Good round in general.

 

Brody Brehm (2027 RHP, San Diego, CA) showed a strong pull-side approach throughout his round of BP from a smooth lefty swing. Impact to pull was evident with bat speed. Strength in hands stood out. Could also pepper it the other way showing off the bat to ball ability. Power plays to the pull-side but ability to go with it the other way shows up as well. Good hitter who can use the entire field.

Slade Sessums (2027 RHP, Highland, CA) Got the start on the mound, working the fastball up to 82 in the 1st.  Went two-innings and struck out six.

Aiden Vargas (2028 1B, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) Got the bats started with a pull side base-hit in the first. Added a second hit of the ballgame in the 3rd for Red.

Brody Brehm (2027 RHP, San Diego, CA) Drove a backside double down the line in the first to score a pair of runs for Red. Added another backside base-knock later in the game.  

Matthew Bias (2026 1B, Huntington Beach, CA) Came in out of the 'pen for Royal, running the fastball up to 85 coupled with a firm breaking ball that showed 1-7 shape.  

Austin Olness (2027 SS, Hermosa Beach, CA) Had one of the louder barrels of the day, splitting the gap in left-center for a triple. 

Hector Rodriguez (2028 LHP, Commerce, CA) Base-knock in the 4th that was on the barrel and drove in a run for Royal.

Edward Crasnean (2026 OF, Lake Forest, CA)Continues his hitting ways in game two with a base-knock.  Made his way around the bases to score a run for 3-Purple. 

Paul Shanabarger (2026 RHP, Temecula, CA) Shoved for 5-Red over 4-innings of 1-run ball and striking out eight.  Ran the fastball up to 86 and stayed around the zone throughout.

Paul Watts (2027 RHP, Apple Valley, CA) Got the start for Purple, only allowing a couple hits and one earned.  Fastball was up to 86 during his efficient outing, keeping hitters off balanced with an 11-5 breaking ball at 71.

Ethan Kim (2025 3B, Montebello, CA) went the other way in the bottom of the 5th for an RBI base-knock for Purple to secure a 2-1 WIN.

Pitchers dual in this one.

Roman Garcia (2028 SS, Spring Valley, CA) Got the bats started for 3-Royal in the first with a base-hit back up the middle.  

Jack Josker (2027 OF, Westlake Village, CA) Stayed back on a changeup away and drove it into the backside gap for 4-Royal in the first, showing patience.  

Eyshen Kitagawa (2028 RHP, Hilo, HI) Got the start on the mound for 3-Purple going 3-innings, allowing 1 unearned and stuck out 1. 

Luke Ludwig (2026 RHP, Murrieta, CA) Got the start on the mound for 4-Royal, going 3-innings, only allowing 2 hits and punched out 5.  Solid outing for the right-hander.  

Jaxson Neckien (2027 OF, Westlake Village, CA) Had the hardest hit ball of the game, barreling up a pull side double, clearing the left-fielders head.  

Severen Cellan (2026 C, Billings, MT) Threw a couple of shutout innings for 4-Royal, allowing only 2-hits and struck out two.  He also added a couple base-hits in the game.

Leyton Denove (2028 OF, Thousand Oaks, CA) got to the barrel for an opposite field double in game today. Left-handed hitter that control the barrel and can drive the baseball to all fields.

Colton Mossman (2027 LHP, Newport Beach, CA) one of the biggest swings of the day today with a triple to the right field fence. Leverage and bat speed from the left-side with developing hit/power.

Ezekiel Maurice (2027 LHP, Weiser, ID) threw 3 scoreless innings on the mound today. An upside 6-foot-6 athletic frame and showed feel for 3 pitches.

Gavin Rolando (2028 C, Woodland Hills, CA) 2-way talent that put together quality at-bats at the plate and impressed with the feel to pitch on the mound today. Performed well on both sides of the baseball.
