PERFECT GAME DICK’S ALL-AMERICAN CLASSIC HEADED TO

CITIZENS BANK PARK IN 2026

Perfect Game makes debut at iconic Phillies venue during

America’s 250th birthday celebration

Former Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel named

Honorary Chairman of All-American Classic

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Thursday, April 2, 2026) - Perfect Game, the world’s largest youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service, today announced that the 2026 Perfect Game DICK’S All-American Classic will be played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, marking the first time a Perfect Game event has ever been held at the iconic home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The game will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET, representing the first time the DICK’S All-American Classic has been staged on the East Coast since 2005 in Aberdeen, Maryland.

The move also comes during a historic year as the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, with Philadelphia — widely regarded as the birthplace of America — serving as a focal point for national commemorations throughout 2026, including MLB’s All-Star Game. Citizens Bank Park has also played host to three World Series (2008, 2009 and 2022) and the 2012 NHL Winter Classic.

The weekend celebration of elite amateur baseball will include:

  • PG All-Star Game – Friday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. ET
  • Launch Hydrate Home Run Challenge – Saturday, August 15
  • DICK’S All-American Classic – Sunday, August 16 at 5:00 p.m. ET

Each year, the DICK’S All-American Classic features the top 60 high school baseball players in the country, many of whom go on to become first-round MLB Draft picks and future major leaguers.

“Bringing the DICK’S All-American Classic to Philadelphia is a milestone moment for Perfect Game,” said Perfect Game Chairman Rick Thurman. “Hosting our premiere event in the birthplace of America during the nation’s 250th anniversary makes this especially meaningful. Citizens Bank Park provides an iconic stage to celebrate both the future of baseball and a historic moment for the country.”

Former Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has been named Honorary Chairman of the All-American Classic. Manuel is the winningest manager in Phillies history, having led the team to back-to-back National League pennants (2008-09) and the 2008 World Series championship.

“Philadelphia will always hold a special place in my heart,” said Manuel. “To serve as honorary chairman of the Perfect Game All-American Classic at Citizens Bank Park — especially in a year when America is celebrating its 250th birthday — is a tremendous honor. There’s no better baseball city, no better fans and no better place to showcase MLB’s next generation of stars.”

The event has previously been held at venues such as Petco Park in San Diego, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and Chase Field in Phoenix, and has featured alumni including Bryce Harper (2009), Zack Wheeler (2008), Bobby Witt Jr. (2018), Gunnar Henderson (2018), Francisco Lindor (2010), Hunter Greene (2016) and Dylan Cease (2013).

Player rosters, coaching staffs and broadcast details for the DICK’S All-American Classic will all be announced later in the year.

Congrats to @KYPlatinum859 on the championship! 🏅 pic.twitter.com/1atWJAL3nm — Perfect Game Ohio Valley (@PG_OhioValley) June 7, 2026 Caleb Hodge (2027, Burlington, Ky.) posted absurd numbers on his way to winning MVP, leading the tournament in batting average (.692), runs (11), RBI (12), doubles (5) and OPS (1.881), all while playing an impressive shortstop. Hodge's swing is built around exceptional barrel lag, keeping the knob pointed toward the catcher deep into the load before snapping the barrel through the zone as the front foot lands. The result is effortless bat speed and consistent impact, with the ball jumping off the barrel. Even with the late acceleration, he stays remarkably connected throughout, allowing the bat speed...

Ryan Sanchez (‘27, AZ) hammers this ball to deep LCF for a 3-run 💣. Physical 6-5/230 frame. Has some rhythm to the hands. Strength plays at contact #DesertClassic @PG_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/sGL2vcpwIL — Perfect Game Four Corners (@PG_FourCorners) June 6, 2026 Ryan Sanchez (2027, Chandler, Ariz.) showcased loud two-way ability throughout the event. A physical frame at 6-foot-5, 230-pounds stands out on both sides of the ball. The stuff on the bump was impressive. Sanchez sat 89-92 mph with the heater, topping out at 93 mph. Heavy armside run and the velocity makes the pitch hard to barrel. It was paired with a quality breaking ball at 73-77 mph that showed some bite. At the plate, Sanchez uses his strength efficiently. There is some rhythm to the hands that creates some bat speed. When combined with obvious strength at contact, Sanchez can generate easy power to the...

Swamp Baseball entered the Gulf Coast Classic looking to break through after falling in the championship game in each of the previous two weekends. Their matchup against Florida Flames 18U was a rematch of the East Memorial Day Classic championship game two weeks earlier, when the Flames earned a 4-1 victory. This time, Swamp turned the tables, defeating the Flames 11-2 at JetBlue Park to claim the 18U Gulf Coast Classic title. The game ended after the top of the fifth inning under Perfect Game’s mercy rule, which ends play when the home team leads by eight or more runs after 4 ½ innings. Strong pitching from Payton Sturrup and Ian Long, combined with consistent offensive production throughout the entire lineup, helped Swamp take control early and never look back. Nicholas Raber delivered Swamp’s first hit of the game, driving in two runs with a double. Anthony Reitler...

After a weekend of competitive baseball, the 2026 Arizona Desert Classic came down to one final matchup between ATB 13U and Rawlings Tigers Primo. When the final out was recorded, Rawlings Tigers Primo secured the championship with a 14-0 victory at Goodyear Ballpark. Rawlings Tigers Primo wasted little time getting the offense going, scoring 4 runs in the first inning to take an early lead. MVP Easton Bakersky helped spark the attack, finishing 2-2 with an inside-the-park home run and three runs scored. Bakersky's home run came at the end of the third inning and helped extend Primo's lead. He finished with a .625 average through four games, while Callan Sanders went 2-3 with one triple and two runs scored. Sanders hit .500 through four games. “The count was 1-2. I was thinking, just get the barrel to it, not trying to do too much,” said  Bakersky. On the mound, Callan...
