2019 Top Prospects

Tayler Aguilar  OF - 2019 - Evans, CO
Grand Canyon

Aguilar showed some high level tools throwing 93 MPH from the outfield and 100 MPH exit velocity. He had a very impressive round of BP including a deep home run to center field. He generates a lot of bat speed and has leverage in his swing. Aguilar made hard contact in the games portion of the showcase and his tools play well.

Brant Voth  C - 2019 - Simi Valley, CA
Indiana

Voth showed well in all aspects of the workout and games. He is best behind the plate and showed high level receiving and blocking skills in game to go with 80 MPH arm strength and a 1.84 pop time in the workout. He showed good hitting tools especially from the left side of the plate. He also had an exit velocity of 92 MPH off the tee and was up to 87 MPH on the mound. Voth is a high level player with tools that play at the next level.

Brock Watkins  SS - 2019 - Pleasant Grove, UT
Brigham Young

Watkins was very impressive defensively in the games portion of the showcase and made quite a few tough plays look easy. He showed instincts and smooth actions on the infield. He also swung the bat well with an upright and loose swing. He hit a lot of gap to gap line drives in BP and stayed back well on an off speed pitch in game for a hard line drive single. Watkins runs well with 6.70 speed to go with 85 MPH arm strength and 97 MPH exit velocity.

Jacob Shaver  SS - 2019 - Salt Lake City, UT
Arizona

Shaver was good in all aspects of the workout. He ran a 6.94 in the sixty and threw 85 MPH from the outfield and the infield. He showed advanced actions on the infield with soft hands and good athleticism. Shaver has easy bat speed and showed some serious hand quickness. His exit velocity was 97 MPH off the bat and it transferred to the games portion as he barreled up the ball well with regularity. He also pitched and topped at 86 MPH.

Brent DiBiase  LHP - 2019 - Englewood, CO
Notre Dame

Dibiase pitched at 84-86 MPH with a quick arm action. His fastball gets some arm side life on it and the velocity projects. He threw a slider at 74 MPH with shape to it and got hitters to chase it often. Dibiase is an interesting left hander with upside and projection.

Zack Medina  SS - 2019 - Lone Tree, CO
Colorado Christian

Medina is a strong athletic player who showed athleticism on the infield and the outfield during the workout. He threw 85 MPH from the outfield and 82 MPH across the diamond. He also showed good bat speed at the plate with an exit velocity of 92 MPH.

Connor Donohue  C - 2019 - Missoula, MT
Dawson CC

Donohue is a big strong kid who showed a lot of bat speed and pop with the bat. He hit a deep home run in BP and the ball jumped off his bat when squared up. He has good raw hitting tools to develop and could really hit with a few adjustments.

Calvin Hunt  RHP - 2019 - Arvada, CO
University of Arkansas-Little Rock

Hunt showed good tools in the workout and in games. He threw 89 MPH from the outfield and ran a 7.10. Hunt pitched at 83-85 MPH with a long arm action and arm speed. He has a lot of upside on the mound especially if he’s able to make a few adjustments to his delivery. He also swung the bat well in BP and in game with the ability to spray the ball to all fields.

Jackson Fisher  C - 2019 - Chariton, IA

Fisher showed good catch and throw skills by popping a 1.96 with 77 MPH arm strength. He received and blocked well in the games portion as well. Fisher also showed good actions on the infield with arm strength up to 82 MPH. He took aggressive hacks at the plate and generated 90 MPH exit velocity. He showed bat speed and some power potential.

Kellan Voggesser  RHP - 2019 - Fort Collins, CO
Doane College

Voggesser pitched at 82-85 MPH with some arm speed. He has a repeatable delivery and the ball comes out of his hand clean. Voggesser gets some cut action on his fastball and he located it well. He attacked hitters with his fastball and mixed in a curve ball and change up. He got some cut action his change up at 75 MPH.

Jake Campbell  RHP - 2019 - Fort Collins, CO
Fort Hays State

Campbell pitched at 81-84 MPH with a long arm action. He utilizes his lower half well in his delivery and pounded the strike zone. The ball jumps out of his hand and he has a real easy delivery. Campbell flashed some bite to his curve ball at 65 MPH.

Collin Romero  SS - 2019 - Castle Pines, CO

Romero ran a 6.92 sixty yard dash and threw 84 MPH across the infield in the workout. He showed good actions on the infield with soft hands. He swung the bat well collecting a double in game to go with other at bats with barrel contact. He showed some bat speed with a line drive approach. He also pitched and was 81-84 MPH with a repeatable delivery. He threw 2 pitches for strikes and showed some feel for his 11/5 curve ball.

Chase Taylor  C - 2019 - West Jordan, UT
Brigham Young

Taylor showed good receiving skills in the game as well as catch and throw skills throwing out runners and putting the ball on the bag. He threw 76 MPH and popped a 2.00 in the workout portion. He also showed solid hitting tools with bat speed. He has a solid approach and showed some pop.

Graham Gilchrist  RHP - 2019 - Boulder, CO
Wesleyan University (Connecticut)

Gilchrist pitched at 78-83 MPH with a clean arm action and delivery. He repeated his delivery well and creates some hip/shoulder separation. He threw a good change up at 71 MPH with sink and arm speed. Gilchrist got some sink on his fastball and competed well.

Rex Olinger  C - 2019 - Longmont, CO

Olinger showed good blocking skills in the games to go with accurate on the bag throws. He showed arm strength up to 75 MPH with a 2.01 pop time in the workout. He also showed some strength in his swing and some pop to the pull side.

Graham Osman  LHP - 2019 - Morrison, CO
Long Beach State

Osman pitched well at 79-82 MPH and located well in his outing. He competed in the strike zone well and gets cut action on his fastball. Osman located his slider well at 73 MPH and got a lot of swings and misses on it. His slider showed 2/8 action on it with shape and bite to it the more he threw it.

Kevin Pipich  RHP - 2019 - Highlands Ranch, CO

Pipich pitched at 80-83 MPH with his fastball with occasional life to it. He gets some sink on his fastball and and creates some downward plane. Pipich threw an 11/5 curveball at 71 MPH with occasional bite to it. The velocity projects with a few adjustments.

Dante Leach  SS - 2019 - Sacramento, CA

Leach showed a loose swing from both sides of the plate. He made solid line drive contact in the game and hit the ball where it was pitched. Leach has line drive approach and collected multiple hits in the games portion. He also ran a 7.00 in the sixty.

Iain Kirby  OF - 2019 - Redmond, WA

Kirby showed good bat speed with 93 MPH exit velocity off the bat. He’s got strength in his body and swing with strong wrists. He made a lot of hard line drive and ground ball contact to the middle of the field and was able to make contact to all fields.


2020 Top Prospects

Colby Shade  OF - 2020 - Windsor, CO
Oregon

Shade is a very good runner with 6.57 speed in the 60 and he also threw 87 MPH from the outfield. He is a good athlete and the ball comes out of his hand clean on his outfield throws. Shade showed some hitting tools at the plate with 88 MPH exit velocity.

Ricardo Santiago  OF - 2020 - Tucson, AZ
Glendale CC

Santiago was impressive swinging the bat with an advanced approach. He showed a good swing with balance and utilized the ground well. Santiago showed feel for the barrel and made consistent hard contact including a double and a home run in game. He also showed arm strength up to 85 MPH from the outfield. Santiago is versatile defensively and can play both the infield and outfield well.

Tate Satterfield  OF - 2020 - Wellington, CO

Satterfield was good in all aspects of the workout running a 6.85 in the sixty to go with 86 MPH arm strength from the outfield. He showed some athleticism in the outfield and had a quick release. Satterfield swung the bat real well with good bat speed. His exit velocity was 89 MPH and he barreled the baseball up well especially to the pull side.

Jack Nielsen  1B - 2020 - Southlake, TX
Abilene Christian

Nielsen took an impressive round of BP with bat speed and loud contact. He has a very fluid and loose swing and he made contact to all fields. Nielsen showed arm strength from the outfield up to 86 MPH with online accurate throws. He also pitched and topped at 82 MPH and projects for more.

Jackson Romero  SS - 2020 - Fort Collins, CO

Romero swung the bat well and showed bat speed and loud contact in BP and in the game. He also showed good footwork on the infield working around and through the baseball well. He also showed arm strength up to 83 MPH across the diamond. Romero showed advanced feel and instincts defensively.

Mannino ran a 6.87 in the sixty and threw 84 MPH from the outfield in the workout. He showed fluid actions and athleticism in the outfield. Mannino made hard contact at the plate and showed bat speed. He made contact to all fields and showed some raw hitting tools.

Ethan Silcox  SS - 2020 - Albuquerque, NM
New Mexico/Amarillo College

Silcox ran a 6.79 sixty yard dash and threw 84 MPH from the outfield and 80 MPH across the infield. He showed solid defensive actions on the infield with twitch. Silcox showed a line drive swing and some barrel feel.

Roy Jennings  OF - 2020 - Rio Rancho, NM
New Mexico/Trinidad State Junior College

Jennings showed good hitting tools and flashed bat speed with loud contact. He sprayed line drives to all fields and flashed some pop. He also ran a 6.89 in the sixty and showed athletic actions in the outfield.

Garrett Lippold  OF - 2020 - Aurora, CO

Lippold performed well in the workout showing a 6.81 sixty time to go with 82 MPH arm strength from the outfield. He swung the bat well in game collecting a couple of hits including a double. Lippold also was aggressive on the base paths and made things happen.

Thaniel Trumper  RHP - 2020 - Fort Collins, CO
Doane College

Trumper pitched at 78-81 MPH and showed some arm speed. He flashed some life on his fastball and got run on his change up at 71 MPH. There’s more velocity in there with a few adjustments. He was very impressive in the BP potion making consistent hard contact with barrel feel.

Noah Turley  RHP - 2020 - Midway, UT
Arizona/Yavapai College

Turley is an athletic first baseman with arm strength up to 87 MPH. He showed good hitting tools with a rotational approach. Turley got good use of his lower half and flashed some pop. He showed bat speed and has power potential. Turley is athletic enough to play third base and is an above average defensive first baseman.


2021 Top Prospects

Brennan Connell  RHP - 2021 - Olathe, KS
Fort Hays State

Connell pitched at 79-81 MPH with his fastball with a repeatable delivery. He showed control of 3 pitches and threw them all for strikes. Connell threw an 11/5 curveball with some shape to it and also threw a change up at 74 MPH with sink. He showed pitchability and has an idea of what he’s doing out there. He also threw 85 MPH from the outfield in the workout.

Cole Martino  RHP - 2021 - Pueblo, CO
Washburn

Martino pitched at 78-82 MPH with his fastball from a short arm action. He worked to both sides of the plate with his fastball and flashed a curve ball at 69 MPH with good depth. He also swung the bat well and showed some strength in his swing. He showed 88 MPH exit velocity with a downhill plane.
