Kevin Pipich is a 2019 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Large frame with long limbs and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Primary right handed pitcher with an up tempo delivery. Stays balanced at gather and works in line to the plate. Smooth arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot flashing good arm speed through extension. Fastball produced good downhill plane through the zone with some sink in the low 80's, topped at 83 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with solid spin and late life when maintaining arm speed through extension. Also flashed a changeup offering that generated some fade to arm side in the low 70's. Consistently changed speed and looked to attack hitter in the bottom quadrants of the zone. Frame and arm action project for additional velocity with maturity. Excellent student. Named to the 2018 Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
