Dillon Haines is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from St. Augustine, FL who attends Episcopal. Shorter left hander with solid present physicality. Long off-line arm stroke in back, 3/4's to high 3/4's arm slot. Works in the upper 80's on his fastball with good late life at the plate. Has an advanced feel for spinning the ball, can change shapes from slider to curveball at similar velocities with intent and good command. Confident in his change up and will use it any point in the count. Has three solid present pitches and the ability to use them, will continue to improve as he gets more consistent in his arm swing and release slot. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stetson.
