2018 Top Prospects

Brian Martin  OF - 2018 - Westland, MI
Michigan State

Martin is a big and strong two-way prospect who has signed with Michigan State. He filled up strike zone with an 85-87 mph fastball on the mound and threw three different off-speed pitches, with his slider being the most impressive. He is also a powerful right handed hitter with lift in his swing.

2019 Top Prospects

Dillon Kark  SS - 2019 - White Lake, MI
Michigan State

Kark was the dominant player at the showcase and was strong in all areas. He hit well both in BP and in games, showing big power and bat speed with lift in his swing, while also throwing 92 across the infield and 86 mph from the mound. He is committed to Michigan State.

Aaron Dolney  C - 2019 - Plymouth, MI
Nebraska

Dolney has a very strong, well proportioned 6-3/205 build and lots of present strength and athleticism. He has elite level arm strength behind the plate, with an 83 mph drill reading and a 1.85 pop time to go with plenty of left handed bat speed. Dolney is a Nebraska commit.

Nathan Rose  SS - 2019 - Shaker Heights, OH
Bowling Green State

Rose stood out at the plate both in BP and in games with a short and quick line drive swing that created very consistent hard line drive contact. He also ran a 7.08 and showed middle of the field athleticism on defense.

Logan Bell  RHP - 2019 - Lisbon, OH
Akron

Bell has a solid 6-1/180 build and good overall athletic actions. He was up to 85 mph on the mound and gets bat breaking two-seam running action on his fastball at times. His curveball and change up were both quality off-speed pitches that he can throw more often. Bell also showed strength in his right handed swing and drove a number of balls hard.

Harrison Jackson  SS - 2019 - Millbury, OH
Uncommitted

Jackson is a tightly wound athlete with plenty of quick twitch muscles. He ran a 6.87 sixty and showed lots of right handed bat speed while flashing pull power.

Braden Nawrocki  C - 2019 - Grand Rapids, MI
Concordia University (Michigan)

Nawrocki is very athletic for a catcher and it showed in his flexibility and quickness behind the plate. He also ran a 6.85 sixty. Offensively, Nawrocki has a short and quick left handed swing and makes hard line drive contact.

Tyler Rigot  LHP - 2019 - Weddington, NC
Bucknell

Rigot is a big bodied left handed pitcher who throws strikes with four pitches, including a fastball that was steadily 83-84 mph in the zone and both a slider and a curveball that showed potential and the ability to spin the ball.

Nicholas Hartley  C - 2019 - Macomb, MI
Uncommitted

Hartley is a strong athlete with a good balance of offensive and defensive tools and fundamentals. His left handed bat is especially good, with present bat speed and consistent middle of the field hard line drive contact.

Cade Patterson  C - 2019 - Irwin, PA
California U (PA)

Patterson stood out on defense with his quickness and athleticism behind the plate, not to mention the energy and blocking ability he showed. He also ran a 6.98 sixty and has a high contact right handed swing at the plate.

Brock Boynton  OF - 2019 - Mishawaka, IN
Quincy

Boynton has a loose 6-0/180 build that can add strength and a good combination of defensive athleticism and a strong left handed swing that shows present gap power.

Kai St Germaine  RHP - 2019 - Peoria, AZ
Western Oklahoma State College

St. Germaine is a very strong athlete who has tools on both sides of the ball. He topped out at 84 mph on the mound while holding his velocity well while also showing big right handed power at the plate.

2020 Top Prospects

Derrick Dawson  C - 2020 - Mishawaka, IN
Lincoln Trail College

Dawson is a very strong athlete for a sophomore with a 6-0/205 build. He especially stood out for his aggressive right handed swing and huge power potential but he also popped a 1.94 with good raw arm strength.

Andy Nelson  SS - 2020 - Winfield, IL
Iowa

Nelson is a plus athlete, with 6.87 speed in the sixty and very good arm strength that he showed well both from the outfield and his natural shortstop position. He has some bat speed from the right side of the plate and plenty of time to add strength to his 6-0/170 frame.

Blake Mahmood  RHP - 2020 - Eden Prairie, MN
Tulane

Mahmood has a severe cross body delivery but controls it well and creates good angle on his pitches. He topped out at 85 mph, with his best pitching being a low 80's cutter that has sharp action and occasional slider depth.

Jaden Henline  RHP - 2020 - New Cumberland, PA
Penn State

Henline has a sound, on line delivery and good angle from a high 3/4's arm slot. He worked mostly in the lower 80's but had the ability to reach back for 85 when ahead in the count. Henline's curveball was a solid pitch in the low 70's with tight spin and a feel for the strike zone.

Jake Zeeb  OF - 2020 - Commerce Township, MI
Uncommitted

The 6-1/160 Zeeb is still growing into his coordination and has lots of room to add strength but he has looseness to all his athletic actions, including a nice right handed swing, and sound outfield fundamentals on defense.

Dominic Hann  RHP - 2020 - Washington, MI
Michigan State

Hann is very strong for a sophomore and has a 6-0/205 build. He was up to 85 mph on his fastball with the ability to throw the ball low in the zone. He also showed very nice feel for a big upper 60's breaking ball that should continue to improve.

2021 Top Prospects

Alex Mooney  SS - 2021 - Rochester Hills, MI
Duke

Mooney is only a freshman but he he has a very projectable 6-1/160 build and plenty of present and future tools. His 6.82 sixty was the fastest running time of the event. He is also a top level student who already has a verbal commitment to Duke.
