2029 Top Prospects
Mason Pearce
OF - 2029 - Fort Myers, FL
He stood out on the field during workouts for his projectable frame and high end compliment of tools. He moves well on his feet, shows clean glove action and ripped throws across the diamond up to 77 mph. Pearce was even more impressive in game action as he went 2 for 4 with a double and 2 runs scored. Then he jumped on the mound and let his 80 mph fastball deliver a clean inning with 2 Ks.
Charlie Hatten
RHP - 2029 - Wesley Chapel, FL
Hatten had a standout performance on the mound, dominating in his two innings of work. Worked exclusively from the stretch and showed a quick arm that ran his fastball up to 78, living more mid 70s that he attacked hitters with early in-zone and that flashed decent life. He broke off several sharp 12-6 breakers that produced some buckle/whiffs. Also flashed some offensive ability at the plate where there is above avg. bat speed and strength.
Cayden Addison
OF - 2029 - Homestead, FL
He had one of the most complete showings at the event as he looked equally talented in workouts and game play. He has solid footspeed currently; this serves him well in the outfield where he covered ground and showed a strong accurate arm. The bat may be his best tool, with fast hands and the overall strength to do damage for his age. In two games, he went 3 for 5 with a double, 2 runs scored, and he also collected an RBI. He also pitched a clean 2.0 IP, creating soft contact and he didn’t allow the opponents to cross home plate.
Jayden Jenkins
C - 2029 - Live Oak, FL
-Consistently on the barrel in batting practice and took that approach to the live games. Overall, Jenkins went 3-5 with a couple of doubles and sprayed the ball all over the yard.
2030 Top Prospects
Kipton Walden
RHP - 2030 - Bowling Green, KY
Showed two-way promise, running the fastball up to 77 on the mound and taking solid in-game at bats. Overall, Walden went 3-4 with a couple doubles over the two games.
Peyton Brogdon
OF - 2030 - Alpharetta, GA
Showed off a quick arm on the mound, running the fastball up to 75 and struck out two over his two innings of work. Fastball showed solid arm side run and stayed around the zone consistently with athletic actions present.
Chaselon Mack
SS - 2030 - Ocean Springs, MS
Mack showed well in both the outfield and infield. Developing footwork but the glove actions were solid fielding most everything clean and out front while getting off accurate throws from both spots. At the plate, there was noticeable intent to hit the ball hard. Present strength that translated to above avg. bat/hand speed and quality impact to the pullside.
Tucker Nall
SS - 2030 - Spartanburg, SC
He had one of the most comprehensive workouts in his group, showing a wide range of solid skills for his class. He showed nice lateral range and clean work with the glove before making accurate feeds across the diamond up to 67 mph. Tucker is also projectable behind the dish with compact mechanics and feel overall for catching. He was also effective in game action on the mound with a lively, mid-60s fastball as he cruised through 2.0 IP. He also went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI in the game, letting his quick hands deliver the barrel with accuracy.
Aedan Connolly
C - 2030 - Deland, FL
Stood out in defensive workouts with his athletic actions and quick arm. Showed off quick hands in batting practice and flashed gap to gap juice with a consistent swing, staying in rhythm.
Bryson Dudley
OF - 2030 - Weston, FL
Showed two-way potential, going 3-4 at the plate in live game action and had a solid outing on the bump. Athletic actions present in the outfield with developing arm speed and accuracy.
Eli Housler
1B - 2030 - Kalamazoo, MI
Had one of the more dominating outings on the mound over the weekend, using the strikeout to record all six outs over his two-innings of work. The 5-foot-10, LHP, showed excellent mound presence and athleticism with an overwhelming mix.
Wyatt Huffman
RHP - 2030 - Little River, SC
-Consistently on the barrel during BP as well as in game action, going 3-3 in his second game, with a single, double and a triple to the backside. Presence on the mound, running the fastball up to 75 and striking out four in two-innings pitched.
Matt Johnson
OF - 2030 - Jefferson, MD
Worked two scoreless innings on the bump while striking out three and ran the fastball up to 71. Competitive approach with more to come. Johnson was a present at the plate in live games, going 2-4 with a triple and knocked in three.
Andrew Kane
C - 2030 - Brandon, MS
Kane has the look of an offensive catcher long term with solid skills behind the dish and a projectable lefthanded swing. With emerging arm strength, Kane showed the ability to use a quick, clean transfer to get the ball out in a timely fashion. He displayed the ingredients to be a power threat down the line as he gets the barrel on plane and gets natural loft to the pull side. In his first game, he went 1 for 3 with an RBI and he also scored a run.
Nathanael Leet
SS - 2030 - Sarasota, FL
Stood out in workouts, showing athleticism and solid glove mechanics with a quick arm across the diamond. Showed good rhythm at the plate with an up the middle approach and stayed on the barrel.
Alexander Lin
OF - 2030 - New York, NY
Proved to be a tough out all weekend long, going a combined 4-5 in his two games with three base hits and a double. Showed versatility in the field with the ability to play any position in the outfield and infield.
Brayden Russ
OF - 2030 - Stafford, VA
He's another athlete with a frame that projects well, especially in his class. Russ took one of the better rounds of batting practice on the day, creating excellent bat speed with loose wrists and strong hands. He shows the natural ability to get extended and generate easy loft to the pull side. That talent translated well to game action as he went 2 for 3 with a run scored and 2 RBI all told.
David Suggs
SS - 2030 - St.Louis, MO
Suggs showed a well-rounded skillset during workouts and stood out with the stick. Setting up with a nicely balanced, wide base he showed advance bat speed for his class. With his quick hands and short approach to contact, he used the middle of the field to pepper line drives into the gaps. While he is in the early stages of physical development, Suggs does project to be a hitter long-term and squared some balls up well in live game action.
Luke Tant
RHP - 2030 - Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
Tant impressed with his performance on the mound. Worked exclusively from the stretch, showing an athletic drop/drive delivery and strong feel to pitch. He located his low 70s, T73 fastball well throughout his outing and showed confidence in a low 60s overhand breaker that he showed the ability to land for strikes.
