12/31/2024

Aiden Bodison (2030 SS, Duncan, SC) has quick hands for his age and really gets the barrel out front. Very sound in the box and has a lot to build upon as he matures. Several knocks on the day.

Ashton Bodison (2030 OF, Duncan, SC) joined him in the hit department with several knocks of his own. Really used the opposite field and showed comfort going that way for his age group.

Andrew Kane (2030 C, Brandon, MS) stung one the other way for a good piece of hitting. He has some strength for his age already with a sound feel for going the other way.

Kipton Walden (2030 RHP, Bowling Green, KY) drove a pair of balls deep to the gap for extra bases. He already has some good bat speed to build upon and a solid athletic foundation.

Joey Bellissimo (2029 SS, Gloucester, MA) produced a loud barrel as he showed the ability to turn around around the baseball at a young age. The ball jumps a bit off his bat with good carry and backspin. Produced solid swings all day.

Alexander Lin (2030 OF, New York, NY) showed good feel for the barrel at his age with consistent hard liners through the six-hole. Quick hands and a short approach that really impressed.

Landen Hickman (2030 RHP, Martinsville, IN) had several knocks on the day and has a keen understanding of how to hit to the pull side. He clears his hips very well.

Tucker Nall (2030 SS, Spartanburg, SC) showed out at the plate with multiple hits and using all parts of the field. He has a quick swing for his age and can get the barrel to different parts of the zone.

Titus Lyons (2030 OF, Macclenny, FL) also had several hits on the day and really used all parts of the field well for his age. He has a quick swing that can get the bat head out front, good idea of how to attack.

Batting Practice Highlights

Kipton Walden sprayed liners to the middle of the field throughout his round.

Mason Pearce continued on a good weekend by taking a strong round of BP, consistently hitting liners all over the field and showing quality bat speed throughout.

Brayden Russ showed some things to like getting good separation and able to lift some baseballs to the pull side early on.

Jayden Jenkins showed some looseness to the hands and was able to stay in a good rhythm, using the entirety of the field.

Nathanael Leet showed some things to like with the bat speed and overall length he creates through the zone; good bit of upside as he gains consistency.

Peyton Brogdon showed some quickness to the hands and was able to spray the field with liners.

Kendall Edwards hit some balls up against the wall, showing his strength and ability to get the ball in the air to pull.

Chaselon Mack is a good-sized kid and shows strength in his swing, living on the barrel for a good chunk of it.

57- Green vs. 58- Maroon Game Highlights

12/30/2024

Christian Ganga (2030, Lee’s Summit, Mo.) struck a liner into left field to pick up a base hit for 57- Green. The right0handed bat has simple swing mechanics with bat-to-ball skills.

Charlie Hatten (2029, Wesley Chapel, Fl.) overpowered hitters and threw plenty of strikes. The heater lived in the upper-70s and he paired it with a sharp breaking ball, punching out four total.

Bryson Dudley (2030, Weston, Fl.) worked a long at-bat before capping it with a liner down the line in left. The bat speed is advanced and the parts of the swing are functional.

Deacon Arp (2029, Lubbock, Texas) showed off some good strength, driving a single into left centerfield. The Texas native keeps the hands direct to the ball and has minimal wasted movement.

Peyton Brogdon (2030, Alpharetta, Ga.) showcased an athletic swing with quality bat speed through the zone. The primary outfielder lined one back up the middle in the fourth to pick up a base knock.

Angelo Soriano (2029, Lynn, Mass.) had a great piece of hitting, lining one the other way for a backside double. The Massachusetts native has quick hands and swings the bat to do damage.

Eli Reinoso (2029, Peabody, Mass.) ripped an RBI double deep to pull side in the late innings. The left-handed bat possesses advanced strength at the point of contact and the power projects,

Kaden Fox (2030 3B, Mechanicsville, MD) ambushed a first-pitch fastball and pieced it up to centerfield for a single. He rotated swiftly and found the barrel. He later tacked on a second hit, lacing another single to centerfield.

57- Green vs. 58-Maroon Game Highlights

12/29/2024

Jaxson Callahan (2030 SS, Southwest Ranches, FL) got the hitting started for Maroon as he was able to muscle a ball out to left field, clearing the left fielder's head, showing some strength in his hands to inside-out it.

Peyton Brogdon (2030 OF, Alpharetta, GA) was efficient on the mound during his first inning of work, getting into the mid-70s with his fastball while showing off a quick arm with some late life through the zone.

Bryson Dudley (2030 OF, Weston, FL) showed no problem finding the barrel in his first at-bat as he sent a line drive single back up the middle to start the offense for Green. He followed up his first at-bat with another single, sharply lining a ball over the shortstop's head.

Charlie Hatten (2029 RHP, Wesley Chapel, FL) might be listed as a primary pitcher but he jumped all over a fastball up in the zone and hammered it to the pull side gap for a single.

Kendall Edwards (2030 3B, Columbus, MS) followed Hatten with a single of his own as he was able to fight off a ball the other way, showing his strength to pick up a single the other way.

Jayden Jenkins (2029 C, Live Oak, FL) showed some quickness in his hands with a short stroke, sending a single back up the middle to kick things off for Green, quickly then stealing second. He followed up in his next at-bat with another single that snuck into shallow center field.

Eli Housler (2030 1B, Kalamazoo, MI) was rather dominant during his two inning stint on the mound, running the fastball up to 72 mph while striking out all 6 batters he faced, eliciting plenty of swings and misses.

Matt Johnson (2030 RHP, Jefferson, MD) put perhaps the best swing on the ball of the entire game as he was able to get his arms extended, sending a line drive triple the other way to split the LFC gap.

55-Gold vs. 56-Gray Game Highlights

12/29/2024

Wyatt Huffman (2030, Little River, SC) showcased intriguing stuff on the mound. The fastball worked up to 75 mph. It paired well with a mid-60’s changeup and low-60’s curveball with developing shape.

Kipton Walden (2030, Bowling Green, KY) hammered a ball down the left field line for a double, followed by a base hit pullside later on in the game. Walden shows the ability to get separated pre-pitch into a path that gets on plane well.

Cayden Addison (2029, Homestead, FL) laced a ball pullside for a base hit. A clean operation stays balanced and allows for hard hit line drives often.

Jenpaul Orozco (2029, Homestead, FL) barreled a ball into the pullside gap for an RBI double, followed by a loud single back up the middle later in the game. A short path to contact showed the ability to get on top of pitches at the top of the zone. There is quality strength present within a projectable frame.

Brody Stimson (2030, Davison, MI) put together a quality at-bat that ended with a base hit to the opposite field. A physical frame stands out on the left side of the plate. Stimson also missed a fair share of bats while on the mound.

Alexander Lin (2030, New York, NY) laced a ball into left-center field for a double. Shows a short, direct path to contact with some barrel accuracy. Lean frame has plenty of room to add.

53-Black vs 54-Columbia Blue

12/29/2024

Mason Pearce (2029 OF, Fort Myers, FL) got things going offensively for Black as he was able to go with the pitch and sent a double the other way to the gap.

He then showed the biggest arm of the day as he hopped on the mound to close it out for Black and worked comfortably in the upper-70s, topping 80 mph, with the heater with a sharp slider up to 71 mph.

Brayden Russ (2030 OF, Stafford, VA) followed up Pearce and wasted little time in his first trip as he went the other way, lining a single into left field to put the first run on the board.

Kaden Fox (2030 3B, Mechanicsville, MD) turned around a pitch in his first at-bat, pulling a single thru the 6-hole for a single to try and help spark a Columbia Blue rally.

Carson Lindsay (2030 LHP, Charleston, WV) let the hands go to work as he took a fastball in a left-on-left matchup and was able to muscle it into center field for a single.

Aiden Bodison (2030 SS, Duncan, SC) picked up hits in each of his first two at-bats, the second of which he was able to stay compact to the baseball and barrel a line drive over the head of the second baseman. He then proceeded to steal second base on the next pitch.

Felix Breen (2029 2B, New York, NY) made very quick work of his first inning on the mound, picking up a weak grounder and a pair of punch outs without breaking a sweat. He worked with some angle and filled the strike zone, generating some late sink on the heater.

Brett Kuprowicz (2029 1B, Dillonvale, OH) hammered the first pitch that crossed the plate later in the game, jumping all over an elevated fastball for a stand up double that was roped down the left field line.
