Will Marlin  1B - 2027 - Jonesboro, AR

Marlin found the barrel on a consistent basis during batting practice and also added a few hard-hit balls during live action. The 6-foot-2 right-handed hitter has impressive strength in the barrel and hands with consistency to the middle of the field. He offers upside as a bat with intriguing power potential.


2028 Top Prospects
Asher Krimmel  RHP - 2028 - Chesterfield, MO

Krimmel showed out on both sides of the ball. On the mound, the 6-foot-2 right-hander punched out five batters through three dominant innings of work while running his fastball up to 80 mph. He also put together a clean and efficient series during the infield workout, delivering accurate throws up to 82 mph across the diamond. At the plate, the righty hitter added a pair of doubles to different parts of the field on Sunday, showing off his power from pole to pole.

Braden Reich  1B - 2028 - Gillespie, IL

Reich put on a show during batting practice, spraying loud and hard line drives to all parts of the diamond. The 5-foot-11 left-handed hitter remains short and direct to the baseball, frequently impacting it with easy strength to either gap. He also added a pair of doubles during live action and posted an exit velocity of 78 mph.

Jackson Hood  RHP - 2028 - Mt.Vernon, MO

Swain put together an impressive showing in every phase. He ran the fastest sixty-yard dash of the event of 6.90 seconds and showed off the strongest arm from the outfield. He made clean plays and throws to the bag up to 80 mph. On the mound, the 5-foot-10 right-hander struck out seven batters over three dominant innings of work while running his heater up to 79 mph. He also put together an impressive round of BP and posted an exit velocity of 81 mph.

Henry Murphy  RHP - 2028 - Park Ridge, IL

Murphy was dominant on the mound, blowing his fastball by opposing hitters. The heater got up to 80 mph with ride and arm-side run, working both sides of the plate effectively. He paired it with a sharp 11-5 breaking ball that induced several swings and misses. He also flashed some strength at the plate during batting practice and posted an exit velocity of 76 mph.

Alexander "Alex" Hampton  C - 2028 - Marble Hill, MO

Hampton showcased plenty of explosiveness behind the dish, getting out of the crouch with urgency before delivering accurate throws to the bag. He recorded arm strength up to 71 mph with a pop-time of 2.06 sec. During batting practice, the 5-foot-9 righty produced consistent contact to all parts of the diamond and later posted an exit velocity of 78 mph.

Anderson Hudson  C - 2028 - Old Monroe, MO

Hudson put together a loud round of batting practice, spraying well-struck line drives all over the field. The 5-foot-9 left-handed hitter shifts his weight well into impact and frequently generates carry to both gaps. He has plenty of strength in the hands and barrel with plenty to project on moving forward.

Owen Kueker  SS - 2028 - Sparta, IL

Kueker turned in a productive outing on the mound, going right after hitters with his fastball. The heater had some life to it and topped out at 79 mph. He also showed feel for his fading changeup and mid-60s curveball, which proved effective at misting barrels. The 5-foot-11 right-hander offers plenty of intrigue as an arm with more velocity to project for.

Taylen Brown-Upchurch  OF - 2028 - St.Louis, MO

Brown-Upchurch put together a clean series of defensive drills in the outfield, delivering accurate throws with arm strength up to 75 mph. The athletic 5-foot-9 prospect stays quick and light on his feet, covering plenty of ground in the outfield grass. He also ran a 7.09 sixty-yard dash.

Owen Wulff  RHP - 2028 - Kankakee, IL

Wulff put forth an impressive round of batting practice and later carried it over into live action. The 5-foot-7 righty controls the barrel well throughout the strike zone and impacts the baseball with effortless strength when timed up. He added a pair of doubles on Saturday, showing off his power tool to both gaps.

Nicholas Nguyen  MIF - 2028 - Hannibal, MO

Nguyen was on the barrel all weekend long, adding three hits during live action. The 5-foot-8 right-handed hitter controls the barrel well throughout the strike zone and showcased the ability to work all parts of the field. He also put together a clean series during the infield workout, delivering accurate throws across the diamond.
