Jacob Powell showed off his strength and speed on multiple occasions. In the infield, the 6-foot shortstop took quick and clean routes to the baseball, funneling it smoothly before delivering an accurate throw. He displayed sound footwork in the dirt and recorded am strength up to 85 mph. At the plate, Powell impacted the baseball well from gap to gap, posting an exit velocity of 80 mph. He also ran a 7.00 sixty-yard dash.
Vince Cataldo started off by running the fastest sixty-yard dash of the event with a 6.70. He later put together an impressive showing during the defensive workout, making smooth plays in the dirt while recording arm strength up to 83 mph. He has plenty of lateral range with good adjustability up the middle. At the plate, Cataldo generated consistently loud impact to all parts of the field and posted an exit velocity of 82 mph.
Tyler Estelle put together impressive showings both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. After running a 7.12 sixty-yard dash, the 5-foot-11 right-handed hitter created dangerously loud impact during batting practice with easy leverage to the middle of the field. He posted an exit velocity of 83 mph and also recorded arm strength up to 83 mph across the diamond. In the infield, Estelle funneled the baseball cleanly and got rid of it with urgency.
Carlos Luis Cruz put together impressive showings on both sides of the ball. The 5-foot-7 switch-hitter generated easy bat speed with clear jump off the barrel from both boxes. He impacted the baseball with intriguing strength from gap to gap on a consistent basis. In the dirt, Cruz showed off his soft hands and strong arm, recording arm strength up to 90 mph across the diamond. He also ran a 7.38 sixty-yard dash.
Derek Soroa was equally impressive on the offensive and defensive ends. At the plate, the 6-foot-1 left-handed hitter stayed connected well through impact, spraying well-struck liners to all parts of the field. He generated easy strength with leverage to the middle of the field and posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. In the infield, Soroa demonstrated sound glove actions and recorded arm strength up to 86 mph across the diamond.
Aiden Riley was consistently on the barrel during his batting practice round, flashing evident power to both gaps. He generated easy strength at impact with leverage to the pull-side. The 6-foot-1 right-handed hitter posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. At first base, Reilly made quick and clean turns, delivering accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 77 mph.
Luis Carlos Cruz really impressed behind the dish where he showcased explosive actions out of the crouch. He gets the ball out in a hurry and delivers it on the base pretty consistently. Cruz recorded arm strength up to 69 mph with a pop-time of 2.05 sec. The 5-foot-7 right-handed hitter also put together an impressive round of batting practice, generating effortless and consistent carry with backspin from gap to gap.
Ruben E. Centeno Ortiz put together a very impressive showing on the defensive side of the ball. Behind the dish, the 5-foot-11 catcher was quick and smooth out of the crouch, remaining inline with his target as he gained sufficient ground. His throws were consistently on the money as he recorded arm strength up to 73 mph with a pop-time of 2.07 sec. During batting practice, Ortiz produced consistent contact to all parts of the field and later posted an exit velocity of 80 mph.
