Impressive two inning performance to wrap up game one from Miner, reared back and grabed 86-mph once while sitting 82-84 with comfort. Firm action on the four seam, mixed in a swing and miss cutter right at 76 with late GS action and some vertical drop at times, changed eye levels n/s with a low 70s curveball as well. Impressive mix, good pitcher's body as well at 6'4/190; projection remaining.
6.78 runner with athletic actions and bouncy feet, above average arm strength both in the grass and dirt with a displayed feel to handle the stick. Collected three hits in game one including a smoked 2B that split the left center gap. Topped out at 85-mph on the bump in game 2 with a clean arm stroke and feel for secondaries; very intriguing overall prospect.
Talented defender with soft hands and feel for the leather on the left side of the infield, had a good round of reps and handled every chance in game as well with an accurate arm. Smoked a triple over the center fielder's head in his last at-bat in game one, handling some velo and barreling it up.
Nice combo of speed and barrel skills in the profile, Donnelly barreled up multiple baseballs this weekend to collect himself some knocks in game action. Moves easy with 6.77 speed and an impressive 1.55 10-yard split, has present bat speed and a projectable frame that projects nicely long term.
Very comfortable round at first base with clean actions and arm strength across, handled himself well in BP with solid pull-side contact and some impact to the left center gap. Good mover for size on the bump as well, sat 81-83 with good feel to rip off a lateral slider in the low 70's. Found a triple off the left field wall in game two action.
Legit juice in the stick that showed this weekend with a max exit velocity off the tee at 88-mph and multiple loud barrels in game. Worked both sides of the field, real power projection and can handle a corner with the current defensive actions.
Solid left-handed pitcher with a good three pitch mix, sat right at 77-80 through his entire three inning appearance with good results in the bottom half of the zone from a higher slot. Mixed in really nice change with late dive and tunneled off the heater, dropped in a breaker too with varied depth and tilt.
