2026 Top Prospects

Blake Davis  OF - 2026 - Apopka, FL
Uncommitted

Davis shined in the workout portion of the showcase, running a 6.78 sixty yard dash and showing off a strong and accurate throwing arm in the outfield. The tools he displayed carried over into game play when he caught a couple barrels at the plate. Davis turns tight and accelerates extremely quick in the box to go along with good feel for the bat head.

Jenuel Velazquez  OF - 2026 - Orlando, FL

Velazquez’ skillset played all over diamond throughout the showcase. He had two hits in game and had one of the better BP rounds on day 1. His swing was compact and easy with leverage to do damage in the air. On the mound the southpaw attacked hitters from a rhythmic, under control delivery. He made quick work of hitters with two strikeouts in two innings of work.

Gunner Campbell  C - 2026 - Odum, GA

Campbell had an impressive four hits in five plate appearances in live game action. There is legit barrel variability and accuracy in his simple, under control operation at the plate. The primary catcher also had a super quick exchange during drills that allowed him pop a 2.15 down to second base.


2027 Top Prospects

Michael Alicea  SS - 2027 - Saint Cloud, FL

Twitch was evident in all aspects of Alicea's game. He ran a 7.37 sixty yard dash and threw 81 mph across the infield. Overall it was a loud showing from the young middle infielder.

Dylan Zack  SS - 2027 - Winter Garden, FL

Zack has a strong arm and it showed in both the infield and outfield with 79 mph and 76 mph throws respectively. He also ran a 7.26 sixty and had a solid round of batting practice with a very easy and rhythmic swing.

Connor Sines  RHP - 2027 - Winter Springs, FL

Sines had some of the best stuff on the mound in the whole showcase. The primary right-handed pitcher used a low effort, fluid delivery to pound the zone with both a heater and a curveball. His fastball sat comfortably in the 76-79 mph range with good arm side movement when up in the zone. The curveball had gradual horizontal break that kept hitters off balance.

Santiago Espitia  SS - 2027 - Windermere, FL

Espita's glove stood out during infield drills. He too efficient angle to the baseball, showing fluid and athletic actions suited for the middle of the diamond. Also had two hits in games with a short, line drive swing plane.

Yu Suefuji  SS - 2027 - Bradenton, FL

Suefuji was graceful in his infield workout, showing a quick first step with good lateral range to both sides. He made it look easy at shortstop in game action as well. Suefuji was no slouch with the bat either. The 2027 grad went 2-4 with an RBI single to go along with his advanced glove work.

Connor McKenzie  LHP - 2027 - St. Johns, FL

The lanky lefty commanded the strike zone with two pitches that flashed plus potential. The fastball peaked at 73 mph with arm side run that was tough on left handed hitters. What stood out the most was his advanced ability to spin and locate a depthy 12-6 curveball that spun upwards of 2385 RPM. Mckenzie had six punchouts in three scoreless outing with legit bat missing stuff.

Matthew Wetherell  C - 2027 - Ocala, FL

Wetherell produced loud contact when he connected during the batting practice portion of the workout. He used all fields in game, showing a sound approach and the ability to hit the ball where it was pitched. There was evident strength in his game with a solid foundation and showing to build on.


2028 Top Prospects

Jacob Collins  C - 2028 - St Augustine, FL

Collins was a hit machine with four of them in just six at bats. There was quality catch and throw skills on display in catcher drills when he threw a 2.2 to second base with good foot work and direction. The arm strength carried over to the mound where he topped out at 76 mph with the fastball.


2029 Top Prospects

Owen Fouse  OF - 2029 - Lake Mary, FL

Fouse is advanced for his age and it was on display throughout the showcase. The youngster ran a sub 7.5 sixty, topped 75 mph on the mound, and had real bat speed that produced hard line drives all over the field.
