Connor McKenzie is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 153 lb. frame from St. Johns, FL who attends Ponte Vedra. Medium, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.10 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, deliberate tempo at start of delivery, knee raise at start, works to an extended three-quarters slot following hand break. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, worked comfortably to the arm side and showed running life to it out of the hand. Present feel to mix and match, keeping hitters off balance. Able to add/subtract to curveball and confidence in the offering, up to 65 mph with some depth and shape; mixed a changeup at 66 mph, tends to slow arm at release but worked all three pitches around the zone. Young actions in the outfield, methodical approach to the ball, longer arm stroke through the backside, fields the ball cleanly. Similar clean arm action at first base, moves around the base with balance and showed accurate throws. Switch-hitter, wide base with an even stance from the right side, leg raise trigger for timing; vertical bat head at start, looks to lift at point of contact, occasionally gets uphill. Slightly open stance from the left side, level path with steady contact to pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
