2023 Top Prospects

Logan Chapman  3B - 2023 - Apopka, FL
College of Central Florida

Chapman had an exceptional weekend overall. He had several well-hit balls, going 4-for-6 on the weekend with several hard-hit balls, showing off the high-level bat speed. Solid round of BP, lifting the ball well pull-side with bat speed on display, leaving the yard pull-side during his round. The Stetson commit worked out well in the infield, throwing across the field at 92 mph with on-target throws.

Matt Misiti  RHP - 2023 - Winter Park, FL
Florida Gulf Coast

Misiti shined on the mound this weekend, working up to 89 mph while holding 85-86 mph on a fastball that he commanded well. Used his slider with tight-break to it for outs, helping him punch out 4 over 3 innings of work, allowing just 1 hit. He picked up a base hit during the games, showing off the ability to produce line drives. Worked to all-fields in his BP round and stayed on plane with pitches throughout his BP round and AB's in-game.

Cesar Valera  RHP - 2023 - Bradenton, FL
Florida Gulf Coast

Valera swung the bat really well this weekend, being able to stay consistent with his swing with a loud barrel to pair, producing impressive contact during his BP round. He picked up a double in-game and was 2-for-3 overall, collecting 3 RBI in his two games as well. On the mound, Valera also showed off the arm, working up to 88 mph on his fastball with carry, pairing it with a tight-spinning breaker, mixing in the changeup as a third offering. He punched out 4 hitters over 3 innings pitched while allowing just 1 hit.

Eric Correa  OF - 2023 - Carolina, PR
Rice

Correa was able to shine in his workout, showing off his arm from the outfield, reaching 87 mph as his top velocity. He worked through the ball well, with strength behind his throws. When he stepped in the box, the left-handed hitter was able to manage an excellent round with a great feel for the barrel shown with good bat speed. The Rice commit picked up 2 extra-base hits. This includes a first-pitch fastball that he jumped on for a triple on a ball smoked down the line pull-side. He also stayed on time for a changeup and drove it the other way for a double.

Charles Chalk  OF - 2023 - Land O Lakes, FL

Chalk had an impressive weekend on both sides of the baseball. He was up to 86 mph on his fastball and held the low-80s, pairing in a breaker to righties, and working the changeup with arm-side fade away from left-handed hitters to collect 3 strikeouts over 2 innings. He showed off some strength in his frame, being able to impact the ball well with juice pull-side. He also picked up an RBI-base knock on a ball sent back through the infield pull-side.

Jalan Gordon  OF - 2023 - Avon Park, FL

Gordon showed off impressive tools this weekend, with strength present during his outfield workout. He threw 89 mph from the outfield with a quick arm and fluid actions through the ball. He was able to use his long levers well from the left side at the plate, with a loud round of BP while going 1-for-2 with a base hit in his 2 games.

Giovanni Giuliani  OF - 2023 - Sarasota, FL
Kenyon

Giuliani was able to kick off his weekend with an impressive showing in the workout. He was able to show off a balanced lower half and get on time with pitches and drive them back into the middle of the field with strength behind it. He picked up 3 base knocks in his two games, finding ways to drive the ball into left field and center field for hits.

Peter Liakakos  RHP - 2023 - Venice, FL
Erskine College

Liakakos was able to mix his 3 pitches well, working up 86 mph on his fastball. He showed a slider with some sharper break to it, and was not afraid to mix in a changeup that tunneled well off the fastball, helping him punch out 5 hitters over 4 innings pitched.

Clint Shores  LHP - 2023 - Pike Road, AL

Shores punched out 5 hitters over 3 innings of work in his outing, commanding a 4-pitch mix well, throwing a lot of strikes, and working with some pace on the mound. He also had a solid round of BP, working direct to the baseball and producing line drive contact. Drove one hard into the 6-hole to pick up a base knock in-game.

Efrain Zambrana  SS - 2023 - Ponce, PR
Berea College

Zambrana put together a quality round of BP, working to all fields with loose hands in his swing. Kept things simple in the box, staying on time and in a rhythm for a round that produced good contact. Also worked out well in the infield. Athletic move who let his feet carry him well to make excellent throws across the infield.


2024 Top Prospects

Benjamin Robinson  C - 2024 - Saint Augustine, FL
Northwest Florida State College

Robinson left the yard during his BP round and had juice with loud contact throughout his swing. Uses his size to his advantage and created loud contact. Behind the plate, he used quick feet to get himself set and make clean, but quick throws down to second base.

Angel Santiago Velazquez  SS - 2024 - Hialeah, FL
Marshall

Velazquez had a solid round of BP, elevating the ball, showing off great bat speed, and the ability to work pull-side. He threw 90 mph across the infield and was able to show off the power behind his throws during his defensive workout.

Kaiden Krak  RHP - 2024 - Orlando, FL
University of Central Florida

Krak was able to attack hitters with a fastball that was up to 87 mph while holding the mid-80s. He punched out 4 hitters during his 2 2/3 innings of work. He mixed in a slider that had sweep to it, keeping hitters off-balance. The fastball was able to jam kids and produce some bad swings from the opposition.

Collin Ewaldsen  RHP - 2024 - Baxley, GA

Ewaldsen was impressive on both sides of the baseball, working up to 85 mph and getting on hitters quick. Killed the spin on his changeup and used it often. Picked up 5 strikeouts over 3 innings of work. Swung it from the left side with quick hips helping him turn on the baseball and work pull-side during his round of BP. Worked out well in both the infield and outfield. Threw 88 mph across the infield letting the feet carry him well through his actions, moving athletically.

Maurice Maiquez  C - 2024 - Miami Gardens, FL
Tallahassee CC

Maiquez worked up to 84 mph on his fastball and attacked hitters early in counts, helping him pick up 3 strikeouts over 2 innings pitched. Paired the fastball with a 12-6 shaped breaking ball, and changeup with some arm-side depth to it. Had strength through the zone in his BP round and had quick catch-and-release behind the plate.

Aidan Aguila  LHP - 2024 - Hialeah, FL

Aguila punched out 4 in his outing working into the low- to mid-80s on his fastball that got on hitters quickly. He also mixed in a breaking ball to keep hitters off balance. Mixed his pitches well and missed barrels over his outing

Trey Bentley  OF - 2024 - Mulberry, FL
North Carolina State

Bentley posted a 6.96 60-yard dash to kick things off this weekend. He showed off similar swings from both sides during his BP round. From the left side he showed off some quickness in the barrel, being accurate and driving the baseball. From the right side, he was more compact during his BP round. Worked out well in the outfield, throwing 84 mph while working through the ball with repeatable mechanics working around the ball.

Dominic Negron  OF - 2024 - Orlando, FL
Coastal Alabama CC

Negron had a solid weekend, starting with a 6.85 60-yard dash. He was able to show off strength in his round of BP. He produced a good round and kept a level path to the ball. In the outfield, he was able to throw 85 mph and work from a short arm action. On the mound he attacked hitters with a mostly fastball attack and missed barrels, adding 2 strikeouts over an inning of work.

Dean Hanselman  2B - 2024 - Merritt. Island, FL

Hanselman was able to have a stellar weekend in the batters' box. In his BP round, he showed off some whip in his swing being able to lift the ball and produce quality contact. He was 5-for-8 at the dish with a double to his credit. In his defensive workout, he stayed in control of his actions, making clean throws across the field, and working through his motions with ease throwing 83 mph across the infield.

Austin Middleton  LHP - 2024 - Gainesville, FL

Middleton used a 3-pitch mix for success on the mound, being able to punch out 7 of the 9 hitters he faced during his 3-inning outing. Showed off a feel for the barrel in his BP round, using his lower half as well to produce good contact.


2025 Top Prospects

Sebastian Hurtado  C - 2025 - Orlando, FL
University of Central Florida

Hurtado showed that he's a great all-around athlete this weekend, starting with a consistent and loud round of BP. He showed a full swing path that stood out; short to the ball with a long finish. Behind the plate, the tools were also loud with a 1.99 pop time, throwing 81 mph down to second. It was a good mix of quickness and arm strength. In-game also caught well and had good actions behind the plate.

Tyler Boyesen  OF - 2025 - Daytona Beach Shores, FL
Stetson

Boyesen ran a 7.08 60-yard dash to start the weekend and followed it up with a very loud BP round. Showed off some juice that came from a swing with impressive bat speed and a smooth shift into contact. Worked out athletically in the outfield, working through the ball well and letting it carry well to the bag.

JC Martinez  OF - 2025 - Coconut Creek, FL
North Florida

Martinez used his athletic build to his advantage this weekend. He shined on the mound, working up to 85 mph on his fastball, pairing it with an 11-5 breaking ball, and fading changeup. Mixed his pitches well and picked up 3 strikeouts over 2 innings pitched. Smoked a double with present bat speed throughout his BP round and in-game at-bats.


2026 Top Prospects

Andrew Barr  1B - 2026 - Longwood, FL
Uncommitted

Barr spun the fastball/breaking ball well combination well in his outing, commanding both pitches well. The 11-5 shaped breaking ball proved to be a problem for the opposition, helping him pick up 5 strikeouts over 2 innings. Barr was 2-for-5 with a double to his credit in-game. Showed off loose hands and was explosive at contact with a lot of room to keep lifting the ball well.

Kevin Quezada  RHP - Free Agents - Panama, PM PAN

Quezada was more than impressive on the mound this weekend with an exceptional feel for a two-pitch mix, working up to 82 mph on his fastball and dropping in an 11-5 breaker to fool hitters. He used good sequencing to punch out 7 hitters over 4 innings of work.
