Kevin Quezada is a 2023 RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Panama, PM who attends Instituto Episcopal San Cristóbal. Medium slope shouldered build, some strength in his lower half. Works from the stretch with simple drop and drive mechanics with good direction to the plate, medium length arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, low effort release. Fastball worked up to 82 mph, gets nice glove side cutting action that created some swing and miss. Second pitch was a curveball, has good feel for landing it for strikes with a short to medium length break. Strike thrower who challenges hitters and gets quick outs. Good student. Named to the Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
