Murphy had a strong day in all phases, showing of strong tools for an uncommitted prospect. He ran the second best dash time of the day, threw 88 from the outfield, and took professional rounds of BP.
Casasanta has a physically imposing 6-foot-2 frame and loads of strength present. He ran a sub-4.00 second 30 time with 92 mph throws from the outfield and really impressive in game rounds.
Briggs is a terrific athlete and ran the best 30 yd dash of the day at 3.64 seconds. The left-handed swing is pretty with looseness & barrel control as the hit tool shined during live at bats.
Lejan showed pretty impressive two-way skills, working mid-80s with a good slider and showing big power at the plate. The breaking ball was a difference maker offering while the power at the plate showed up in game.
Hayter is an athletic, left-handed hitting outfielder who threw 87 and ran the third best time of the event. The BP stood out too, with well struck liners to both halves of the field consistently.
Oborne worked up to 87 mph with a low release and lots of carry at the top of the zone. The slider was a solid offering too getting plenty of swing and miss.
Loder has a nice blend of tools with good athleticism and 83 mph throws from the outfield. He swings violently at the plate with bat speed and plenty of intent.
Becker has great size at 6-foot-4, 195-pounds and ran a 3.88 30 yard dash with 90 mph throws from the outfield. There's big bat speed at the plate and he also showed two-way potential up to 88 on the mound.
Bartha took a very good round of batting practice and backed that up with tools to spare. He ran a sub-4.00 second 30 yard dash with 84 mph throws across and really raked when it came to live at bats.
Dreydan has a pretty swing from the left side of the plate with fast hands and a whippy bat head. Pair that with a 3.96 30 and low-80s throws from the outfield and you have a well-rounded prospect.
Sutherland has some really easy power and the ball explodes off the bat. He's physical and strong and the right-handed stick has loads of power potential.
At 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, Walters is an ultra-physical right-handed hitter with big jump off the bat. There's good athleticism for his size and the hitting tools portend big upside.
Jarrett has a pretty controlled stroke from the right side with plenty of feel for the barrel. He's a good athlete too and controls the bat head well with consistency.
