Keaton Lejan is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Saskatoon, SK who attends Tommy Douglas. Big and strong physical build. Primary right handed pitcher who has potential as a power hitting first baseman as well. Works from an abbreviated wind up that is simple and well timed. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with explosive life through the zone, pounds the strike zone aggressively with his fastball and misses barrels with it. Threw a tight short slider as his breaking ball and showed some ability to change the depth and shape. Strong and effective outing. Right handed hitter, sets up in a tall and open relaxed stance, has fast and strong hands and good bat speed, looking to lift and launch with an uphill finish, gap to gap contact when on time. Secondary first baseman on defense. Very young for the 2027 class. Named to the PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Friday) Top Prospect List.
