Up to 87-mph with life through the zone and the ability to zone the fastball with comfort. Good shape to his upper 70's slider with late, sharp glove-side bite and a downer curveball that has good top to bottom shape at 70-mph. Strikes and stuff.
Lean, athletic frame with room to fill in and add muscle. Showed lean strength and bat speed in the box, with some thump off the barrel when synced up and a 71 MBS. It was solid on the mound too, where he would run his fastball to 86-mph and spin the curveball at 70-mph with plus raw spin rates of 2700. Good projection all around.
Well rounded performance across the board from Johnson, who impressed on the mound, in the field and with a bat in his hands. He ran a 4.78 with a 91-mph arm from the outfield, with good actions to pair. He's a switch hitter with a clean stroke from both sides, showing a bit more looseness and juice from the left. On the mound, he was up to 84-mph with feel for spin and present control.
High waisted and thin left-handed arm that will fill in and add good weight with a loose arm to pair. Higgins got up to 85-mph and zoned the heater well, playing a tight two-plane slider in the low 70's off it well for whiffs. Showed off a simple swing in the box with a max EV of 89-mph off the tee.
Solid overall showing from Cruz, who had one of the best infield rounds from an actions standpoint of the entire event. He was up to 87-mph across the diamond and showed off a good base in his swing that should both hit for contact and grow into some gaps power as he physically matured.
High academics with hand speed in the box and the best infield arm of the entire event. Steves got it up to 95-mph across the diamond, with good glove actions out front to pair.
Corner infielder profile with some raw power in the box. Harvey was on the barrel and worked through the middle of the cage nicely when he was on time out front. He ran his fastball up to 83-mph as well, throwing lots of strikes and finding the zone with his breaking stuff.
Long, projectable 6-3 frame for the young freshman who also happens to throw with the left hand. He got his fastball up to 81-mph from a steeper angle with depth and cut. He showed a big top to bottom curveball as well as a change too. Weisgerber showed solid defensive actions in the field, both at first and the outfield too.
