2026 PG Colorado Indoor Showcase
Rex Johnson is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Valor Christian. Medium young build with some present strength to continue to build on. 4.78 runner in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense, showed his arm strength well with more to come, best when he's rounding the ball and working through it. Switch-hitter, has better bat speed better rhythm into his swing from the left side, clean left handed path with barrel feel and preojection. Still has some bat speed right handed but not as polished and timed up. Took a turn on the mound with a side step delivery with a low leg hang timer into his drive to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was up to 84 mph and got on hitters quickly. Curveball over-matched hitters with sharp sweeping action, also flashed a firm change up. Good athlete who should continue to improve in all areas. Good student. Named to the Colorado Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
