2020 Top Prospects

Eric Fettinger  RHP - 2020 - Fishers, IN
Wichita State/Harford CC

Fettinger has a long and lean 6-3/170 build with lots of projection remaining. He was up to 86 mph on his fastball and developed feel for his three secondary pitches the more he threw them. He's signed with Johns Woods CC.

2021 Top Prospects

Michael Sprockett  C - 2021 - Liberty Township, OH
Akron

Sprockett was outstanding behind the plate defensively both in the drills and in the games. A left handed hitter, he also showed big-time bat speed and raw power and crushed some balls in the game that really stood out.

Morgan Lunceford  RHP - 2021 - Edmond, OK
San Diego

We've seen Lunceford plenty over the last year and he always brings solid stuff and even better pitchability. The Yale commit worked 84-87 with very good 2-seam life and times and showed plus feel for a hard slider up to 77 mph. He looks like he's added lots of lower half strength to help drive his delivery.

Max Johnson  SS - 2021 - Mason, OH
Indiana

An Indiana commit, Johnson is a high level defensive player at shortstop with very easy athletic actions and the ability to slow the game down. At the plate, the switch-hitter has a smooth and projectable swing and will continue to add bat speed as he gets stronger.

Joshua Kross  C - 2021 - Medina, OH
Uncommitted

The 6-2/210 is an immensely strong young man and he uses that strength well on the baseball field. He's a switch-hitter with power from both sides of the plate and also has a strong arm, showing a mid-80's fastball off the mound. His defensive actions behind the plate were solid as well.

Grant Reising  LHP - 2021 - Canton, MI
Missouri

Reising looks the part of the prospect with a long and projectable 6-3/180 build. He gets big downhill angle on his pitches from a high 3/4's arm slot and filled up the zone with a mid-80's fastball and a curveball/changeup combination

Gabe Nazelli  OF - 2021 - Farmington Hills, MI
Wayne State University (MI)

Nazelli is a very athletic 6-3/185 left handed hitter with lots of projectable physical tools. He threw 88 mph from the outfield and 84 mph off the mound and showed plenty of raw bat speed and power potential.

Steven Jones  RHP - 2021 - Brookville, OH
Uncommitted

Jones is a strong 6-2/195 athlete with a deceptive delivery and a mid-3/4's arm slot with lots of arm speed. He topped out at 85 mph with a 72 mph curveball and was an uncomfortable at-bat, especially for right handed hitters.

Nathan Brown  OF - 2021 - Grosse Ile, MI
Uncommitted

Brown is a quick twitch athlete who ran a 6.91 sixty and has very quick hands at the plate. The left handed hitter has a very accurate barrel and showed some power in the games that he didn't in batting practice.

2022 Top Prospects

Brock Porter  RHP - 2022 - Milford, MI
Clemson

Porter is the 72nd ranked player in the 2022 class and already has a Clemson commitment, so he was a well known prospect coming into the event. He showed very well as a two-way athlete, topping out at 90 on the mound and showing big right handed power potential.

Luke Schlimm  LHP - 2022 - Cincinnati, OH
Air Force

Schlimm is a young left hander with a big ceiling. He worked in the mid-80's with his fastball with good command to both sides of the plate but his best pitch was a nasty 71 mph hammer curveball that was a swing and miss offering.

Ciaran Caughey  RHP - 2022 - Hartland, MI
Kent State

Caughey is a primary infielder but there is a good chance that his future is on the mound despite his overall athleticism. He topped out at 87 mph with big downhill angle and showed very good feel for his secondary pitches despite not being a primary pitcher.

Carson McCoy  SS - 2022 - St Albans, WV
Louisiana-Lafayette

McCoy is a very live bodied young infielder who ran the fastest sixty of the day at 6.81 and is very quick in the middle infield on defense. His right handed swing is very accurate and his bat speed will keep building as he fills out his 5-9/145 frame.

Jared Teke  C - 2022 - Batavia, OH
Northern Kentucky

Teke showed tools in all facets of the game. He has good athleticism behind the plate with good arm strength to go with some strength in his swing. He looked very solid on the mound, with an 84 mph fastball and one of the best sliders we saw all day.

Dylan Thatcher  1B - 2022 - Madeira, OH
Uncommitted

Thatcher has a strong 6-0/187 build for a sophomore and an outstanding left handed swing. He drove the ball hard with loud and square barrel contact virtually every pass at the ball in both BP and in the games.

Jacob Morrison  RHP - 2022 - Flushing, MI
Coastal Carolina

Morrison stands out for his well proportioned 6-6/230 build and is a good one-spot athlete, which helps him repeat his mechanics well for his age and size. He worked in the 80-83 mph range with his fastball and showed good feel for his slider.

Cameron Bryant  SS - 2022 - Miamisburg, OH
Holy Cross

Bryant showed a nice combination of offensive and defensive tools and athleticism. He has solid infield actions with good carry on his throws and some pop in his bat, which he showed very well against velocity in the games.

Tyler Mack  OF - 2022 - Cranberry Township, PA
Juniata College

Mack had a series of very strong at-bats in the games, picking up a couple of extra base hits and really firing his twitchy lower half well. He's a 7.03 runner with the chance to develop into a centerfield defender in the future.

2023 Top Prospects

Noah Miller  C - 2023 - Lasalle, MI
Michigan

Miller is a young catcher with very good athleticism for the position and sound fundamentals that show he's already worked hard on his defense. He has some strength in his swing and also has a chance to develop into a two-way prospect due to his arm strength and ability to throw strikes.

Ty Uchman  LHP - 2023 - Grand Rapids, MI
George Mason

Uchman is a very projectable 6-1/160 left hander with promising talent on both sides of the ball. He was in the upper 70's on the mound with a smooth athletic delivery but might have shown better at this event as a left handed hitter with present bat speed and more to come.
