John Sundburg
1B - 2029 - Carrollton, VA
Sundburg had a nice showing on both sides of the ball as the 6-foot-5 left-handed hitting Virginia native had a strong round of BP before jumping on the mound where he was up to 79 mph, also from the left side.
2030 Top Prospects
Grayson Liddle
C - 2030 - Washington, DC
Liddle came to the Main Even as the top ranked prospects in the event and he continued to show why. Behind the plate he popped a 1.96 and showed mid-70s arm strength before popping 82 mph on the bump and showed lots of quickness in his hands at the plate with a repeatable stroke and lots of athleticism.
Derrick Carley Jr
OF - 2030 - New Orleans, LA
Carley Jr made sure we noticed him all over the diamond throughout the event, putting up some of the better numbers across the board. He ran a 7.18, threw 85 mph from the outfield, 83 across the infield and bumped 80 mph on the bump, showing both speed and arm strength, but also swung it well from the right side with easy bat speed and strength off of the barrel to all parts of the field.
Edilson Alvarez
SS - 2030 - Lehigh Acres, FL
Alvarez was a standout with the bat, both in batting practice and in live action thanks to a fluid right-handed stroke that shows nice balance and separation at the point of contact. He also pumped the strike zone with a mid-70s heater, showing life on the pitch with athleticism in his delivery.
Mark Hamlin
OF - 2030 - North Augusta, SC
Hamlin is a big physical left-handed hitter at 6’1/190 already and it showed across the board; he was low-80s in the outfield and on the mound, while offensively the ball really jumps when he gets separated and he can live to the middle of the field.
Aiden Bodison
SS - 2030 - Duncan, SC
Bodison impressed on both sides of the ball. In the outfield, recorded throws up to 79 and showed feel for the process. In the box, showed good hands and bat speed with strength off the barrel and carry to the backside.
Thomas “Davis” Sheen
SS - 2030 - Lubbock, TX
Sheen looks the part of a real prospect at this age and has the tools to match. He ran a 7.2, was low-80s at multiple positions, including on the mound, and has good connection in the swing on the offensive end with bat speed and consistently well-struck liners to the middle.
Braylon Jeffrey
SS - 2030 - Marrero, LA
Jeffrey made the trip from Louisiana and showed nice tools, highlighted by his right-handed bat speed and ability to consistently turn on baseball with solid impact at the point of contact. He's a sound athlete who shows athleticism in the dirt and solid arm strength across the diamond and on the bump.
Jacob Miller
RHP - 2030 - Temecula, CA
Miller certainly looked the part on the bump with a smooth delivery and quick arm, running the heater up to 80 mph on the bump with life, attacking hitters throughout. The breaking ball was tight with 11-5 shape and late bite while also flashing a changeup around the zone. There's looseness to his hands offensively as he looked to elevate the ball and work to the middle of the field.
Tucker Nall
SS - 2030 - Spartanburg, SC
Nall showed a solid all-around game. Created bat speed and loud contact consistently during his round of BP. At shortstop, he is light on his feet and showed a clean funnel and glove work.
Dameion Baker
UT - 2030 - Lehigh Acres, FL
Baker is an interesting prospect with multi-position versatility and some arm strength. He showed well in the outfield with his actions and produced arm strength up to 79 mph during drills. Offensively, he displayed present bat speed along with some length to create leverage out in-front. The power should continue to evolve as he physically matures and adds strength.
Hawk Bakr
SS - 2030 - San Diego, CA
Bakr is pretty athletic and able to handle himself at multiple positions, while with the bat it’s things to project on as he swings it with intent already, shows consistency in finding the barrel and has the size/current impact to project power on.
Brayden Basso
C - 2030 - Coral Springs, FL
Basso is a primary catcher with stand out bat speed and a clean barrel path. Behind the plate he shined producing multiple pop times in the low 2s and threw balls on a rope to the bag.
Scotty Beddes Jr
1B - 2030 - Highland, UT
A 6’2/200 RHH that uses the size well in the box, generating some great bat speed and consistent carry to all fields. Got the bat head out and powered balls to the pullside.
Ashton Bodison
OF - 2030 - Duncan, SC
Ashton was able to show off tools of his own, beginning with his speed as he ran a 7.21 in the 60-yard. Offensively he swings a quick stick, showing present hand speed with a direct path to the ball.
Landry Evans
RHP - 2030 - Rutherfordton, NC
Evans threw 72 mph from the outfield and 74 mph across the infield, with smooth actions. He also worked into the low-70s on the fastball in his outing on the mound, showing projectable traits.
Jp Gadient
SS - 2030 - Willmar, MN
Gadient has good size at 5’10/160 with intriguing tools across the board; he ran decent, was up to 77 across the infield and showed both strength in the hands and idea to get the ball in the air with intent.
Drew Harrison
SS - 2030 - Saucier, MS
Harrison is an intriguing 5-foot-11, 145-pound athlete with tons of physical projection remaining. He showed two-way upside with sound fundamentals and developing arm strength. He ran it up to 77 mph on the mound, while flashing natural lift and some feel for the barrel at the plate.
Landen Hickman
RHP - 2030 - Martinsville, IN
Hickman has some size and physicality already, which showed in his strength off the barrel offensively and at his primary spot on the mound where he was up to 79 and able to beat guys with the fastball.
Bowen Lopez
OF - 2030 - Cedar Hills, UT
Lopez threw 71 mph from the outfield, 72 mph across the infield from first base, and showed some good impacts at the plate. He also flashed a low-70s fastball with a developing slider and changeup to pair.
Titus Russell
OF - 2030 - Brush Creek, TN
Russell has nice tools with arm strength up to 80 from his primary position in the outfield, and overall good fundamentals there, while he takes big hacks offensively and showed that he has real strength off the barrel when he gets it.
Elijah Schmolke
SS - 2030 - Mooresville, NC
Schmolke showed developing actions on the infield, throwing 79 mph during his round of throws. He worked up to 79 mph on the mound as well, showcasing a feel for two different breaker shapes and a changeup for a projectable pitch mix.
Simon Shaham
SS - 2030 - New York, NY
Shaham is another player whose athleticism was able to shine as he ran a 7.37 60-yard dash prior to showcasing arm strength across the diamond. His right-handed swing showed lots of quickness and impact strength already, sending a couple out deep to the Monster in BP.
Isaac Shoe
OF - 2030 - Mount Pleasant, NC
Shoe was able to show off his athleticism, running a 7.38 in the 60-yard before showing sound fundamentals in the outfield. His left-handed strength already shows some real strength to the pull side, showing the ability to impact when he squares it out front.
Bren Smith
RHP - 2030 - Ellsinore, MO
Smith pounded the zone effortlessly on the mound, as the projectable 5-foot-11 right-hander ran it up to 78 mph in this look. He worked all quadrants effortlessly, repeats well and will only continue to refine his full repertoire.
Brayson Thompson
LHP - 2030 - Lee, FL
Listed at 6’1/185 Thompson was athletic from all over. Was dealing on the mound getting the FB up to 79 with a 3 pitch mix, also took a clean round at 1B and showed feel for the position.
Karsyn Tivet
3B - 2030 - Raceland, LA
Tivet was one of the stronger guys in attendance in terms of his output on both sides as he has arm strength up to 80 MPH with good handle and range on the infield for a bigger guy, while with the bat it’s a good swing with connection, leverage and a real shot to hit for power.
Wei-Hsiang Tseng
1B - 2030 - Cypress, TX
Tseng showed developing actions during workouts and showed some feel to impact with an 81 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Also worked into the low-70s on the fastball, with projectable traits to the operation.
