Titus Russell is a 2030 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Brush Creek, TN who attends Smith County. Short and compact build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open stance with a low hand set, swings hard and creates bat speed, rotational swing mechanics with pull side contact, some uphill plane, power approach that works well for him. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has quick feet and moves well to the ball, good foot work into his transition with an aggressive crow hop, arm works well, game actions in drills. Also worked out in the infield with similar athletic actions and arm strength, not as polished as in the outfield but the athleticism gives him a shot on the dirt as well. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up and repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 79 mph and was thrown for strikes with some carry through the zone, also showed cutting action at times. Also threw a short soft slider with some tilt and a change up and mixed his pitches well.
