James Hays (2023 3B, Hawkinsville, GA) had one of the smoother and loose swings of the event. He created loud contact and juice to his pull side coming from an easy stroke as he peppered plenty of hard contact to right field.
Luke Dotson (2023 LHP, Lake City, FL) was another lefthanded hitter who created loud contact. He sprayed a pair of balls off of the right field wall showing loose hands a clean weight shift into contact.
Rob Duvall (2023 C, Lawrenceville, GA) is a physical lefthanded hitter who swings with intent and can showcase serious jump to both gaps when squared. There is present juice in his stroke with some present barrel ability and loud contact when on time.
Bransen Powell (2023 3B, Locust Grove, GA) swings with intent with good balance at the plate. He worked the ball to all fields in his round of batting practice shifting his weight with a linear lower half and rotational upper half to create high exit velocities for his size.
Blake Rodgers (2023 1B, Ringgold, GA) showcased a low effort stroke at the plate to produce hard pull side contact. Rodgers’s lefthanded swing has loose hands that work well into his swing.
Garrett Garner (2023 OF, Bowman, GA) stands with a projectable frame and room to fill. His loose hands and quick bat combined with his present barrel feel makes Garner a really intriguing prospect moving forward.
Isaac Armstrong (2023 SS, Denver, NC) is a quick-twitch athlete with quick hands and a line drive swing plane. Armstrong had a feel for the barrel in his round of batting practice working the ball to the middle of the field with a similar approach.
Drew Kennedy (2023 1B, Malvern, PA) showcased some of the more intriguing power of the day. His swing has plenty of bat speed and raw strength as he drove balls to both gaps as well as to his pull side with projectable power.
