2-Red vs. 3-Royal Game Highlights

5/12/2024

Duke Henrie (2027, Mesa, AZ) found a barrel early on a drive to center field, followed by a single to left field later on. A fluid, left-handed swing looks to create loft and drie balls in the air consistently.

Giovanni Liburdi (2025, Gilbert, AZ) roped a ball into right-center field for an RBI triple. Clean path allows for barrels to be found often, while a sound approach consistently works gap to gap.

Sehaj Malhi (2025, Cave Creek, AZ) hammered a ball into the left field corner for an RBI triple. A clean, balanced swing has shown the ability to consistently produce hard contact. Frame hints at even more power down the line.

Jacob Claver (2026, Scottsdale, AZ) drove a ball to deep right-center field for a double. Strong frame has continued to generate loud contact to the big part of the field when in-sync.

Max Germaine (2027, Mesa, AZ) demolished a ball to deep right field for a double. A strong, mature frame stands out at the plate and has shown the ability to generate quality power to all fields.

Samuel Hyman (2026, Tampa, FL) was impressive on the mound. The righthander ran the fastball up to 84 mph (2110 rpm) with slight armside run. A nasty sweeping slider at 69-72 mph (2120 rpm) generated uncomfortable whiffs regularly.

1-Gray vs. 3-Royal Game Highlights

5/12/2024

Greyson Bott (2026, Scottsdale, AZ) recorded a base hit into left field early on in the ballgame. Long levers work well in the box, showing the ability to get extended out front consistently.

Adolfo Pacheco (2025, Laveen, AZ) showcased loud two-way ability on the mound. The righthander overpowered hitters with a fastball at 84-87 mph. It paired nicely with a sharp slider at 78-80 mph (2120 rpm). Both offering consistently missed bats in the zone.

Zharius McAllister (2027, Gilbert, AZ) put together an efficient outing on the mound. The fastball worked up to 74 mph with slight armside run. A curveball in the low-60’s got hitters out front and stayed off the barrel. Strike throwing ability allowed for quick outs.

Joshua Newton (2026, Westfield, IN) continues to perform at the plate, hammering a ball to deep left field for a double. The barrel gets on plane early and there is quality extension out front. He has shown the ability to consistently do damage to the pullside.

Gray Vs. Red Game Highlights

5/12/2024

Gavin Hamilton (2027 OF, Chandler, AZ) continues to impress with his do-it-all athletic ability. Found a hard liner for one of the loudest barrels of the day. Super athletic and impacts the game in several facets.

Brody Panzer (2025 1B, Phoenix, AZ) stung one down the line for a double. Physical first baseman with standout strength at impact. Gets the bat head out front and looks to do damage to the pull side.

Joshua Newton (2026 3B, Westfield, IN) has lived on the barrel all weekend long and it continues. Poked one through for a knock and added a second hit.  Continues to impress with his overall feel for the zone and barrel awareness.

Isaac Valencia (2026 OF, Buckeye, AZ) stung one through the right side for a hard hit single. Worked the barrel well all day and saw pitches. Creates length through the zone and is very athletic on both sides of the ball.

Gray Vs. Royal Game Highlights

5/11/2024

Will Coffman (2025 RHP, Houston, TX) offererd a different look with an array of pitches and eye levels. Extended 3/4 slot generated arm-side run on his fastball with a good curve and slider. Made for a real difficult at-bat.

Joshua Newton (2026 3B, Westfield, IN) pieced a double to the oppo gap and raced around the paths in the process. Very strong barrel display dating back to BP and he's put together quality swings.

Zharius McAllister (2027 1B, Gilbert, AZ) pieced a ball to the right-center gap and raced around for a double. Has big time strength in the hands, gets the head out front and impacts it on the regular.

Owen Sherrill (2025 C, Houston, TX) has legit impact and strength throughout the frame. Impressed in BP and followed it up with a loud single in game. Plenty of pull-side contact and shows well behind the dish.

Sehaj Malhi (2025 RHP, Cave Creek, AZ) showing up with the stick now as he pieced balls to the pull-side gap. Had a double and was on the barrel a ton over two games. Just a ton to like here.

Royal Vs. Red Game Highlights

5/11/2024

Lane Abel (2026 SS, Gilbert, AZ) loose looking athlete pounced on a double down the right field line. Quick set of wrists and athletic look in the box. Real good piece of hitting to stripe on the other way. Impressed in BP, added a single the other way too.

Jacob Claver (2026 1B, Scottsdale, AZ) drilled a double to the pull side and stood up at second. Physical left-handed bat with a good bat speed and strength combo. Loud showing with the stick all day.

James J (JJ) Chrobocinski (2025 RHP, Phoenix, AZ) 6-foot-4 righty up to 85 and pounded it to the glove side. Mixed in a shorter slider and late breaker. Tons of projection left in store.

Gray Vs. Red Game Highlights

5/11/2024

Cole Gomez (2025 RHP, Phoenix, AZ) wiry right-hander who missed bats at will. Worked up to 89 mph with loose arm-side run, good slider and curveball to mix. Slider was a go-to with late bite and dive. Good projection left in frame and has swing-and-miss stuff.

Hayden Keeney (2026 LHP, Hanford, CA) showed well in his start on the hill. Consistent release point, topped out at 80 mph and pitched to contact very well. Good slider with plenty of feel for it. Can flat out pith.

Trace McDonald (2027 SS, Gilbert, AZ) good piece of hitting taking a low offering right back up the middle. Showed well in BP and now producing in-game barrels. Good defender on the dirt too handled his own in the six-hole.

Arthur Chavez (2025 C, Colton, CA) delivered a loud barrel to the right-center gap for a triple. Physical backstop with easy strength at impact. Ball jumps off his bat a good bit.
