Joshua Newton is a 2026 OF/MIF with a 5-10 188 lb. frame from Westfield, IN who attends Hamilton Heights. Compact athletic build with good present strength. 6.68 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, charges the ball hard with a short crow hop and good footwork into his throws, longer arm action from a high slot, has some arm speed. Right handed hitter, sets up in a balanced base with a short lift and replace leg load, tends to stay on his back side and get rotational at times, swings hard and develops some bat speed, impacts the ball well and has some projection as a hitter. Good student.
