Merrik Coulter (2020 BHP, Glasgow, KY) Coulter, a both handed pitcher displayed solid feel for the zone from both sides. From the right side, topped at 82 miles per hour generating occasional run to arm side. From the left side, fastball showed more true 4-seam actions up to 78 miles per hour. Changed speed with a breaking ball from each side showing 10/4 and 2/7 shape.
Nathan Holler (2020 RHP, Lake Barrington, IL) The Illinois native showed good jump out of hand with a fastball offering that topped at 86 miles per hour. The 2020 grad consistently worked ahead in the count with fastball and utilized a sharp, late sweeping slider as a put away pitch.
Jack Wenninger (2020 RHP, Cary, IL) Wenninger showed an extended three-quarters arm slot that produced late running action through the zone with a fastball that topped at 84 miles per hour. The 2020 right hander also displayed good feel for both a late sweeping slider and 12/6 breaking ball.
Hunter Pudlo (2022 RHP, Antioch, IL) Pudlo showed good presence on the mound with his 6-4, 2020-pound frame. Fastball generated heavy run through the zone topping at 85 miles per hour. Looked to attack hitters with fastball and showed developing feel for the edges of the plate.
Rhett Stein (2020 C, Auburn, WA) Showed athletic actions behind the plate with soft hands while receiving. At the plate, Stein utilized a balanced, mature approach with a line drive barrel plane. Consistently produced sharp contact off the barrel with the ability to work to all fields.
Clay Billadeau (2020 C, Naperville, IL) The 2020 catcher utilized a naturally leveraged barrel plane that generated good backspin off the barrel when squared. Threw barrel head to cbaseball with intent and generated loud contact to the middle of the field and pull side gap.
