Andrew Castor (2027 OF, Marion, IA) showed the ability to be on time and work back up the middle of the field during his round today. He does a nice job of going where the ball is pitched and can get the barrel out in front to do damage to pitches to the pull side.
Drew Harder (2027 2B, Nevada, MO) attacks baseballs in the zone with a direct swing path and showed the ability to stay through the baseball nicely. He lets the ball travel and can generate backspin to carry balls into the opposite field gap.
Tyler Carlson (2027 OF, Savage, MN) features nice bat speed at the plate, allowing him to make the ball jump off his bat. He has an all fields approach and had his best success when hitting hard line drives back up the middle of the field.
Jefferson Hodge (2027 OF, Norman, OK) does a nice job of getting on plane early in his swing and staying on plane throughout contact. He also showed advanced bat speed through the zone and impacted balls to the pull side throughout his entire round.
Caston Fox (2027 3B, Poteau, OK) showed nice barrel control at the plate, driving pitches that were in tough locations to all parts of the field. He likes to jump on inner half pitches, getting the barrel out front and generating hard line drives to the pull side.
Grant Hummel (2027 RHP, Washington, MO) has a line drive approach at the plate and does a nice job of staying short to the ball. His patience at the plate allows him to let the ball travel deep into the hitting zone before launching balls to the opposite field gap.
Kyler Kirkpatrick (2027 LHP, Omaha, NE) has a simple approach from the left side of the plate and showed the ability to barrel up pitches to all parts of the field. He looks to elevate the ball and sent several balls deep into right field.
Jazarris Mackmore, Jr (2027 1B, Crete, IL) took one of the loudest rounds of the day, crushing several balls back up the middle of the field and launching one deep over the left field fence for a homerun. He has quick hands which allow him to generate nice bat speed through the zone.
Adam Pawczuk (2027 2B, Bloomfield Hills, MI) has an aggressive swing from the left side of the plate. He looks to get out in front of the plate with the barrel and impact it to the pull side. He has a clean swing and is able to create backspin on his line drives.
Nicholas Long (2027 OF, Springfield, MO) has lighting fast hands that he pairs with present strength to power balls to all parts of the field. He has a gap-to-gap approach and does a nice job of hitting consistent line drives deep into the outfield.
Brady Rallo (2028 1B, Chesterfield, MO) utilizes a rhythmic swing at the plate and uses his slightly uphill swing path to create line drive contact. His ability to get on plane allows him to stay through the baseball well to both gaps.
Zachary Lacquement (2027 OF, Des Moines, IA) has a quick path to the ball and has nice barrel speed through the zone. He has the ability to be consistently on time and is not afraid to let the ball get deep before sending it the other way.
Javier Nieto (2027 MIF, Blanchard, OK) utilizes his lower half well, driving through the baseball and utilizing his strength. He has a smooth swing that he repeats well, allowing him to make hard, line drive contact to all parts of the field.
Zachary Steichen (2027 OF, Brookfield, WI) flashed the ability to hit for power today, launching several baseballs deep tot the pull side. He stays through the baseball well and is able to generate nice bat speed through the hitting zone.
