Matthew Saliers is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Lane Technical. Medium size frame. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Corner infield actions, stays low throughout the operation, presents the glove out front, shows some quickness laterally and a clean arm action with accuracy across the diamond. Hit from a narrow base with leg lift timing, works down to the baseball with the swing, real intent and strength in the swing with some ability to lift when he gets the arms extended out front. Put well connected swings on the baseball with solid average barrel control and present pull side pop. Fastball and breaking ball on the mound out of a high three-quarter slot. Drop and drive mechanics with average arm speed and 11-5 shape to the breaking ball. Pitch to contact type of stuff on the mound. Excellent student.
