Aaron Bailey (2026 3B, McCalla, AL) had a good round of batting practice and really showcased an impressive combination of strength and feel for the barrel. He got extended early and often, impacting the ball out front and hitting hard liners to the pull-side.
Charlie Cassingham (2025 SS, Huntsville, AL) was another name that really shined in batting practice. He found the barrel with every swing in the round and showed a ton of components to like. He stays short and compact, hitting the ball to all fields with good strength off the barrel.
Boyd Dela Vega (2023 2B, Birmingham, AL) strung together one of the more impressive rounds of the entire day. He is a strong and athletic player with obvious feel for the barrel. It's a swing that'll play in game and has impressive jump off the bat.
Miller Shy (2026 OF, Starkville, MS) is a right-handed hitter that really impressed in his round of batting practice. He creates good extension in the hands and really turns the barrel over well.
Martin Ledbetter (2025 RHP, Big Rock, IL) definitely stood out in a big way through his round. He creates some serious torque in the bat and has impressive bat speed. The strength really stands out as he was hitting hard liners into both gaps.
Samuel Henegar (2024 1B, Jacksonville, AL) had a solid round of BP and sprayed liners all over the field. He generates some good bat speed and has solid rhythm to the cut.
John Robicheaux (2024 OF, Mountain Brook, AL) swung it well throughout his round, hitting the ball hard to the pull-side. He has repeatable components and has solid bat speed with natural loft to the path.
Thomas VonAhlefeld (2024 OF, Huntsville, AL) is another name that really swung the bat well in his round. He has a mature look to him and swung it with a good approach to the middle of the diamond.
Evan Williams (2024 C, Tuscaloosa, AL) was one of the better rounds that we had throughout the day. He's a big, physical left-handed bat with impressive strength off the barrel.
