8-Navy vs. 10-Purple Game Highlights

Max Glenn (2018 C, Spring Hill, FL) has an explosive lefty swing with good bat speed and looks to damage baseball going one for two in the game. 

Devin Frost (2018 OF, Tallahassee, FL) has a line drive swing plane displaying good bat speed at the plate going one for two with a stolen base.

Mason Raines (2018 OF, Panama City, FL) is a mature hitter that shows feel at the plate and showed the ability to hit to all fields collecting a single in the game.

Joathan Rivera Rodriguez (2018 RHP, Caguas, PR) pitched four solid innings punching out seven of the thirteen hitters he faced. He has a clean arm action and his fastball that topped at 84 MPH had deception to it and mixed in a curveball at 69 MPH and change-up at 76MPH that created swing and misses.

Clem Marsilia (2018 OF, St.Petersburg, FL) uses his hands well with a linear swing with sneaky pop hitting a double to the left center field gap.

Jose Ramírez (2018 2B, Guayama, PR) is a fast athletic quick twitch lefty who is a top of the order type hitter who showed bat speed with a fluid swing hitting a pullside RBI triple in the game.

Eli Riley (2018 OF, Harrisburg, PA) is a good rhythm hitter with a line drive swing plane displaying projectable power going two for two in the game with two runs scored.

Gustavo Sosa (2019 C, Staten Island, NY) had a good game at the plate going two for two with a triple, RBI and a run scored. He showed the ability to let the ball get deep and drive the ball to the opposite field. He also displayed catch and throw ability behind the plate.

Jakob Runnels (2019 C, Winter Haven, FL) had a good day at the plate going two for three with two singles. He showed good plate discipline in his at-bats making loud hard contact and showed a lot of potential with the bat.

Anthony Baez (2018 C, Boston, MA) was two for three on the day with a double and a run scored. Anthony displayed an opposite field line drive approach at the plate making consistent hard contact. He also showed his aggressiveness on the base path being disruptive runner.   

Daniel Galvan (2018 RHP, Key West, FL) pitched four solid inning punching out six batters. He showed arm strength on the mound with his fastball that had some life topping out at 84 MPH. Galvan also mixed in an 11-5 curveball with good shape and spin at 65 MPH.

Diego Arroyo (2018 2B, Orlando, FL) showed an aggressive approach at the plate with middle of the field contact going three for four with two runs scored and three stolen bases. 

Joseph Martin (2018 3B, Davenport, FL) had a good game at the plate going three for four showing consistent hard contact and found the barrel. Martin also displayed good bat speed with a line drive swing plane.
9-Orange vs. 10-Purple Game Highlights

Gustavo Sosa (2019 C, Staten Island, NY) is a young high motor player. He has a quick bat with projectable power going one for three in the game. Sosa also added 2 stolen bases showing off his athleticism and aggressiveness on the bases.

Giovanni Lopez (2018 OF, St John, IN) was one for three in the game with a triple to the right centerfield gap and added an RBI. He had a quiet approach and showed solid bat speed at the plate.

Joseph Smith (2018 OF, Brunswick, GA) displayed a smooth compact stroke at the plate going one for two with a double and run scored. He also showed a line drive swing plane with quick hands.

Alexander Humphrey (2018 3B, Ellenwood, GA) had a good game at the plate going two for two with an RBI. Alexander is a gap to gap hitter who shows good pitch recognition.

Matthew Panzica (2018 RHP, Maple, ON) had two innings of work on the mound punching out five of the six hitters he faced. He showed a long arm action with clean separation getting downhill. His fastball topped out at 81 MPH and mixed in a curveball at 66 MPH with good command and feel.

Clem Marsilia (2018 OF, St.Petersburg, FL) had a solid performance on the mound throwing two innings and striking out four hitters. On the mound, he showed a long arm action and generated a lot of swing and misses. He has a heavy fastball that sat 79-82 MPH and mixed in a 67 MPH curveball.
World Uncommitted BP Highlights

Hernhy Lara (2018 3B, Dorchester, MA) showed plenty of size and bat speed in his swing with natural loft to the pull side. Lara has loose and quick hands directly to the ball with very good rhythm in the swing. He routinely punished balls and showed off a powerful gap-to-gap approach. 

Mason Raines (2018 OF, Panama City, FL) worked with an aggressive swing path and approach during the session with a direct hand path to contact. The smooth lefthanded stroke showed looseness throughout while flashing solid bat speed through extension. 

Will Anderson (2018 OF, Key West, FL) displayed some strong pop to the pull side with a very leveraged approach as well. Anderson gets extended well with strong wrists and has a positive launch angle with a big pull-heavy and fly-ball oriented approach. 

José Daniel Pichardo (2018 C, santo domingo oeste, SD) swings with intent to drive the baseball and often did during the BP session. There are very quick hands with the ability to get the barrel head extended and out in front of the plate well which allowed his bat speed to flourish. 

Daniel Cordero (2018 3B, East Elmhurst, NY) worked with a very consistent and repeatable swing on a line drive oriented swing plane. There was tremendous balance throughout the low effort swing and showed smoothness with a good ability to find the barrel. 

Kellen Ward (2018 1B, Montgomery, AL) has a very strong swing and strength is the primary factor to the approach. Ward impacts the ball very hard through the point of extension with good bat speed and the ball flies off the barrel. 

Eric Ruiz (2018 2B, Cayey, PR) has a compact swing with a line drive swing plane. Ruiz has a clean path to the baseball with consistent hard hit contact and line drives to all fields.
