Missed barrels and was confident with his arsenal. Punched out two during his three innings of work.

Aidan Forrest (2025 3B, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) found one of the loudest barrels of the day as he crushed one into the right-center gap while knocking in a run. 6-Green vs. 7-Orange Game Highlights

6/23/2021

Drew Prozny (2025 2B, Fayetteville, GA) tagged one early in the day as he lined out to centerfield. Stays short and simple to the baseball as he attacks with intent. Natural feel for finding the barrel.

Alex King (2024 SS, Elberta, AL) has had a strong this week. Carried that momentum into games as he singled to the pull-side during the action. Goes with the pitch and doesn't try to over-power the baseball. Singled to the pull-side in his final at-bat as well.

Robert Chatmon (2025 SS, Winterville, GA) utilized an athletic build as he was comfortable in the box. Short, simple stroke from the right-side as he put barrel on ball and let the speed do the rest. Singled up the middle during the action.

Cam Cooper (2025 C, Maysville, GA) looked to do damage and did just that at the dish. Took an elevated fastball and drove it into the left-center gap. Big power in the swing and projects even more going forward. Later went on to steal third as well showing instincts.

Nolan Bernard (2025 RHP, Walden, TN) smoked one back up the middle as the left-handed stick flashed plenty of confidence. Knocked in a run while doing so.

Batting Practice Highlights

6/22/2021

Miles Shore (2024 SS, Marietta, GA) is one of the stronger players in the 14U part of the showcase and he showed big power from a closed long and strong swing that really got extended out front well.

Kade Kisz (2025 3B, Woodstock, GA) is another right handed hitter who extended through contact very well and drove both gaps with some carry.

Rylan Ackerman (2025 C, Flowery Branch, GA) has a big lower half shift into contact to help drive his bat speed but does a nice job of keeping his hand path short and direct at the same time.

Gunnar Waldrop (2025 C, Rockvale, TN) has very nice strength in his hands and a very short swing that highlights his hands.  He found lots of solid barrels with line drive contact to all fields.

Jack Poellot (2025 SS, Cedarburg, WI) is a young switch-hitter with a chance to be a legit switch-hitter down the road with additional strength and reps.  His right handed swing is stronger and more sound right now but there are some good things going on left handed as well.

Caiden Combs (2025 1B, Mount Olive, AL) looks different from the other 14U athletes with his 6-3/245 build but he has a sound fundamental right handed swing that would look good on a player of any size.  He crushed some balls hard during his round and consistently got the ball in the air to carry.

Charles Ashe III (2025 3B, Brookhaven, GA) uses his very strong lower half well to help create bat speed and he has a natural lifting swing with lots of power and carry to the gaps.

Wade Shelley (2025 OF, Webb, AL) has a calm swing with very good hand use and his swing is plane with the ball for a long time through the zone.  He hit some of the hardest balls of the entire 14U rounds.
