Caleb Ricks is a 2025 OF/IF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Elizabethtown, KY who attends Trinity. Recorded a 6.73 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and strong build, athleticism plays throughout overall game. Moves around well in the outfield with a bounce to step, clean round and repeats actions, longer arm swing with plenty of quickness working to a higher three-quarters slot, shows accuracy to the intended base with low and on line carry. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and balanced setup at the plate with rhythm throughout. Present bat speed through the zone stands out, creates nice extension out front and shows hand speed and strength at the point of contact. Repeats well and shows a handle for the barrel. Excellent student. Named to the WWBA Workout Showcase (Wed) Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Louisville.
