1-Black vs 3-Gold Game Highlights

Jordan Walden (2022 LHP, Vidalia, GA) was sharp in his outing on the mound as he pounded the zone with a two-pitch mix. He's athletic and repeats well living in the 82-85 mph range while showing solid feel for a firm breaking ball in the mid-70s that garnered good swing and miss. 

Noah Kuhaneck (2022 C, Ludowici, GA) is a primary catcher who works hard behind the dish and swings the bat well with some strength, but he also showed well on the mound where he worked up to 84 mph with great life from a compact arm action and landed a pair of good secondary pitches. 

Todd Hudson (2022 OF, Lexington, SC) took probably the loudest round of batting practice with some of those swings transitioning well over to game, but on the mound here he worked up to 88 mph using his length to get good extension while flashing some feel for both a breaking ball and a changeup giving him some pitching upside. 

Luke Boone (2022 OF, Richmond Hill, GA) is another position player who worked on the mound showing his arm talent as he worked in the 85-87 mph range using his athleticism to get down the mound. He gets some cut on the fastball making it tough to square and has feel for a pair of workable secondary offerings that could be good pitches with some refinements. 

Dalton Williams (2022 OF, Emmitsburg, MD) showed great upside on the mound as the physical right-hander worked in the mid-80s/T87 with some ride to the fastball and showed developing feel for an out-pitch and in an 11-to-5 shape curveball. 

Danny Baez (2022 SS, Oviedo, FL) showed well in batting practice and transitioned those swings and his strength over to game action in his last at-bat as he smoked a ball into the opposite field gap for a triple. He gets good leverage of his hands and uses the strength to drive the ball hard in the air. 

Hughes Graham (2022 C, Vidalia, GA) showed good consistency with the barrel in game action as he picked up two hits in the form of barreled singles, one of which was back through the middle and the other through the right side. 

Charlie LaFreniere (2023 OF, Norwalk, CT) showed an ability to handle good pitching when he took an upper-80s fastball the other way for a double. He has loose and quick hands with the ability to lift the ball that bodes well as he continues to get even more physical. 


12-White vs. 11-Royal Game Highlights

1/24/2021

Ashton Pass (2023 SS, Smyrna, GA) shows fast hands in the box and got an elevated fastball that he deposited into the left center gap for a triple. Pass is athletic and there's some whip to the barrel head. 

Kent (KJ) Moon (2024 3B, Statham, GA) showed a three pitch mix as well as a fastball that topped out at 83 mph during the showing. He also excelled defensively where his sure hands stood out on back-to-back plays at third base. 

Yeniel Laboy (2022 SS, Arecibo, PR) was one of the better performers this weekend and showed off the wheels as he turned in a ground ball single into a double. Laboy's bat speed stands out from the left side and the athleticism improves his game in every regard. 

Connor Dugan (2022 RHP, St. Petersburg, FL) took competitive at-bats over the course of both games and was rewarded in game two with a double down the line. He's a strong two-way player with a heavy barrel head. 

Adrian Rodriguez (2022 SS, Salinas, PR) notched two hits on the ledger with two singles. Rodriguez stood out in the first game of the day too and shows high level bat to ball skills. 


2-Columbia Blue vs. 4-Gray Game Highlights

Jack Woodard (2022 SS, Carmel, IN) showed a propensity to find the barrel often during game action, while using his quick hands and short, direct swing path to impact the baseball to all fields. The quick twitch primary shortstop scorched a standup double. 

Jack Quick (2023 1B, Miami, FL) showed intriguing two-way potential by throwing two scoreless innings and collecting two hits in game action. The sturdy left-hander ran his fastball up to 78 mph with pinpoint command, while mixing in a replicated changeup at 69 mph. At the plate, he incorporates simple swing mechanics and quick hands to deliver the barrel on time. 

Brandon Exley (2022 SS, Rincon, GA) showed intriguing arm talent to go with good command of his fastball during his outing today. The primary shortstop ran his fastball up to 83 mph in this look, while making several tough plays in the field. 

Nicholas Spry (2023 RHP, Snellville, GA) showed immense power potential and a solid hit tool, doubling deep to left field in game action. The strongly built first baseman incorporates a strong lower half and simple swing mechanics to produce loud impact. Also, showed good lateral range and clean fielding actions around the bag. 

 

 


6-Maroon vs. 10-Red Game Highlights

Eli Thurmond (2023 OF, Mount Dora, FL) went a perfect 3-3 in the batters box this morning, showcasing a plethora of tools throughout. Utilizes an athletic build and advanced approach at the plate paired alongside plus speed on the bases.

Jack Porter (2022 SS, Franklin, TN) possesses quick hands at the plate and continues to showcase a feel for finding the barrel of the bat. Pulled a hard hit single down the left field line in his second time at bat.

Cristian Valenzuela Robles (2023 OF, Carolina, PR) flashed nice two-way potential and athleticism throughout. Laced a double back up the middle in his last at bat and fanned five hitters in two hitless innings of relief on the mound.

Cesar Valera (2023 SS, Bradenton, FL) showcased a quick arm on the mound running his fastball up to 86 and maintaining his velocity throughout two innings of relief work. Has the ability to spin the baseball as well, showing off a tight biting slider that was commanded to both sides of the plate.

Derick Bonilla (2022 SS, Yauco, PR) displayed quick hands and the ability to create leverage with his swing launching a double over the center fielders head in his first time up. Has a simple approach in the box and the ball jumps off the bat.

Adriel Vega Santiago (2022 SS, Caguas, PR) led off the ballgame with a ringing single the other way into right field. Showed an ability to hit the ball hard to all parts of the field flying out deep into left in his last time up. Flashed a good glove and strong arm in the middle of the infield as well.

Eduardo Santiago (2022 2B, San Juan, PR) hit the ball with authority throughout roping a single back up the middle in his first at bat and following it with a loud fly out to center field his last time up. 

 


8-Orange vs. 9-Purple Game Highlights

Brad Johnson (2023 SS, Arlington, WA) was impressive during his two innings of work, running his fastball up to 85 mph and showing command to both sides of the plate. The long, lean right-hander showed good feel of both his secondary offerings, sequencing both his 11-5 shaped curveball and replicated changeup in any count. 

Jamaliel Rosado (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) continued to impress at the plate, collecting multiple hits including a double to left field. The strongly built primary shortstop incorporates simple swing mechanics and good present strength to produce loud contact seemingly every at-bat. 

Garrett Frost (2023 C, Auburndale, FL) used his strength to his advantage, lining a standup triple to gap in game action. The young primary catcher incorporates simple swing mechanics to deliver the barrel consistently. 

Dylan Mass (2022 OF, Franklin, WI) continued to show an intriguing hit tool, collecting multiple hits in this one including a double. The fleet footed primary outfielder uses simple swing mechanics, while staying compact through the zone. 


5-Green vs 7-Navy Game Highlights

1/24/2021

Jacob Senecal (2022 RHP, Islamorada, FL) had a good day at the field as he tossed a few solid innings working 80-84 mph with good sink to the fastball, feel for a sweeping slider and good pieces to project upon for the long term. He also showed some strength going a long way to center-field for a triple in his last at-bat. 

Mason Green (2024 OF, Falls Church, VA) had another good day at the dish as he crushed a ball to deep left field for a triple and then took home on a throwing error to score an early run. His looseness in the hands allow to adjust the barrel head to pitches around different parts of the zone and lift the ball with some strength like he did on a flyout to center later in the game. 

Cooper Allen (2023 SS, Wake Forest, NC) is a very athletic infield prospect who showed some intrigue in his inning on the mound, working 83-85 mph with good projectable pieces in a sound delivery, good arm speed and feel for present stuff. He challenged hitters with the fastball while mixing in a good sweeping breaking ball.

Miles Curley (2022 3B, Largo, FL) picked up three strikeouts in his lone inning of work, living 80-82 mph with the fastball. He challenged the hitters with some downhill action on the fastball and showed feel for a solid breaking ball that had late sweeping action out of 11-to-5 shape. 


12-White vs. 13-Orange Game Highlights

Kayden Faulcon (2023 RHP, Yardley, PA) is an athletic righthander up to 88 mph with three pitches for strikes. He leveraged the ball nicely low in the zone and paired that with a solid curveball with good shape. 

Bryant James (2023 OF, Smyrna, GA) was aggressive in the box and roped a double down the pull side line. James is athletic in the box with impressive bat speed and gets the barrel head out well. 

Preston Hart (2023 C, Sanford, FL) was in first pitch swing mode as he took a ball at his eyes into the pull side gap. Hart is a physical presence with good strength in his wrists and posits some power upside. 

Jake Nolte (2022 RHP, Valrico, FL) is a polished righthander who landed three pitches for strikes at will. The delivery is compact and easy and he buried the breaking ball for swing-and-miss along with a changeup that he replicated nicely on with his arm speed. 

Carson Hansen (2022 OF, Pewaukee, WI) ripped a triple into the pull side gap during his final at-bat. Hansen has a linear stroke at the dish and showed off the speed by hustling around the base paths for the three-bagger. 

Cole Lowe (2023 OF, Kimberly, AL) posits some two-way upside as he was extremely effective during his two innings on the mound. There's good angle on the fastball that topped out at 81 mph along with a sharp breaker and a good changeup. 


5-Green vs 6-Maroon Game Highlights

1/23/2021

Cooper Consiglio (2023 LHP, Palm Harbor, FL) was dominant in his outing on the mound as he picked up five strikeouts in a pair of innings. The athletic lefthander worked in the 83-85 mph range from an angled slot and was able to land a pair of solid secondary pitches in a hard-biting curveball and a fading changeup.

Nathaniel Hulen (2022 C, Cicero, IN) had a solid day offensively as he picked up a pair of hits in three at-bats, including a long lofted triple to center-field. He's strongly built but has athleticism in his run ability and repeats the swing well with good components for in-game success. 

Eli Thurmond (2023 OF, Mount Dora, FL) is an extremely athletic player who picked up a pair of hits in this game in as many at-bats, including a well-struck triple in his first at-bat. He generates good bat speed through the zone with a knack for finding the barrel and uses his 6.51 speed to impact on the bases. 

AJ Davis (2023 OF, Elizabeth, NJ) had an outstanding day at the plate as he picked up three hits in his first three at-bats, two of which were doubles and the other being a triple that was crushed to center-field. He has a sound approach with an efficient swing that projects well as he continues to fill out. 

Mason Green (2024 OF, Falls Church, VA) is a highly-athletic prospect who had a great day at the plate, leaving the game just a homerun away from the cycle. The young outfielder has some length to the swing but gets good extension at the point of contact and is able to lift it to either gap.

John Hernandez (2022 3B, Boston, MA) also had a good day at the dish getting a pair of extra-base hits with a double and a triple. He has good strength in the frame and uses it well into his swing as he gets the barrel head out and lifts the ball with authority when squared. 

Ryan O'Rourke (2023 RHP, Morristown, NJ) showed plenty of intrigue in his time on the mound in the game here. The 6-3/170 right-hander has great projection, showing a mid-80s fastball already with good life and feel for a low-70s breaking ball that shows good bite when he's in sync with it. 


11-Royal vs. 13-Orange Game Highlights

Jose Velez (2022 LHP, Kissimmee, FL) is a tall, lanky lefty who ran his fastball up to 88 mph and threw three pitches for strikes. He generates a lot of angle and pounded the strike zone as the changeup had good fade and the breaking ball good depth; Velez struck out 7 in three innings. 

Chase Crawford (2023 SS, Denham Springs, LA) collected a hit during the affair with a single to centerfield. He's got good hand-eye coordination in the box and can hit the ball where it's pitched. 

Sebastian Ortiz (2023 SS, Norwood, MA) tripled in his final at-bat of the game. He battled in the at-bat to drop one in the left centerfield gap and showed off his speed by hustling all the way around to third base. 

Luis Gonzalez Rodgriguez (2022 C, Patillas, PR) has a smooth lefthanded stroke as the switch hitter lined a single to the opposite field gap. He has quick hands and can use the whole field on a line to his advantage.


NUC East BP Highlights

1/23/2021

Andrew Williamson (2023 OF, Seminole, FL) has loose hands with an easy, consistent line drive swing plane. He really controls the barrel nicely and there's easy barrel skills to project upon moving forward. 

Tyrus Cobb (2022 LHP, Locust Grove, GA) has quality bat speed with fast hands through the swing as well. Cobb has a functionally sound stroke with the ability to go to all fields with intent. 

Charlie LaFreniere (2023 OF, Norwalk, CT) is a physical kid with a lofted stroke that plays nicely for power. The hands work well in the swing and he leverages the ball in the air with plenty of backspin and carry throughout. 

Caden Mason (2023 C, Warrior, AL) has good rhythm to his hands with a lifted swing plane from the right side. He drives forward with his lower half and showed a clean barrel path with juice in his wrists. 

Jack Quick (2023 1B, Miami, FL) is a physical presence in the box and showed some impressive bat speed. The lower half works well throughout the mechanics and he hits the ball hard with carry to posit future power. 

Nathan Martinez (2022 SS, Guayama, PR) has quick hands and operates on a line drive swing plane to spray line drives all over the field. He works gap to gap for the most part but can turn the stick over and generate carry to the pull side when needed. 

Danny Baez (2022 SS, Oviedo, FL) has a physical build and uses a lower hand set to create loft in the stroke and work uphill through contact. He leverages to the pull side of the field well and posits some power upside to pull. 

Luke Boone (2022 OF, Richmond Hill, GA) has really impressive bat speed from the right side and shows big power when he gets his hands fully extended out in front. There's upside with consistency but the offensive tools are loud. 

Luke Boykin (2022 OF, Jesup, GA) showed a quiet approach and keeps the bat head still with some explosiveness through the swing. The swing is really consistent and he impacts the ball hard as he turns the barrel head over. 

Evan Cowan (2022 OF, Richmond Hill, GA) works through the hitting zone quickly with fast hands and looseness throughout the stroke. He turns the bat over well and flashed some barrel accuracy. 

Todd Hudson (2022 OF, Lexington, SC) uses his long levers and big frame to generate a ton of leverage and impact to the pull side. He had the top exit velocity of the day at 99 mph and really stood out with his balance, bat speed, and power potential. 

Clayton Evans (2024 C, Lake Placid, FL) has loose hands with loft to the stroke and has a full, fluid swing path. The ball carries to all fields and the power will continue to improve as he fills out. 

Eli Thurmond (2023 OF, Mount Dora, FL) is an athletic swinger with plenty of bat speed with a compact, clean swing plane. The swing is low effort and he fires his hips well as he barreled up most of the round. 

Christopher Lara (2022 3B, Boston, MA) creates good length through extension with fluidity to the swing path and impressive bat speed. There's good strength in his wrists and he does a nice job driving the ball into the air consistently. 

Parker Corbin (2024 SS, Loveland, OH) displayed a solid hit tool from the left side with easy bat speed and a good degree of polish throughout. Corbin worked line drives to all fields and there's good whip to the barrel head as well as consistency to the round. 

Miles Curley (2022 3B, Largo, FL) showed some of the best bat speed and power of the day as he took a couple of batted balls way out to the pull side. The trigger is easy and he strides forward hard to create a lot of leverage throughout his lower half.

Ely Kennel (2022 SS, Monmouth, OR) showed some of the best bat speed of the day with a good amount of explosiveness and violence generated throughout. The barrel head is whippy with good power and backspin to the pull side as the upside is vast.

Jamaliel Rosado (2022 SS, Orlando, FL) is a big, physical righthanded hitter as he strides hard into contact and drives the ball to the pull side consistently. He really maintains his momentum nicely into contact as there's good power upside. 

Dylan Mass (2022 OF, Franklin, WI) showed a whippy barrel head from the left side and took a professional round with loud line drives to all fields. The bat speed stands out with natural loft and big power potential. 

Jake McGhee (2024 LHP, Fenton, MO) has fast hands at the dish with a well-controlled, simple stroke that allows for consistent line drive contact. He roped barrels to all fields and has legitimate two-way upside. 

Garrett Rusch (2022 SS, New Castle, IN) turned tightly over the inner half of the plate with his fast hands to generate line drive contact out in front. He flashed some juice with a ball or two off the wall to the pull side. 

Yahir Acevedo (2022 OF, Arecibo, PR) swings the bat with lof effort and the easy stroke is controlled nicely with some leverage to the pull side. There's good balance and consistency throughout. 

Jake Ondich (2023 1B, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) is a very strong kid with an easy, lifted swing and a ton of carry and strength off the barrel head. He has a pretty easy trigger in the swing with a good amount of well-struck contact. 

Giullianno Allende (2022 OF, Carolina, PR) has a short, efficient swing from the left side with pretty quick hands throughout. He's an athletic swinger who drives line drives to both gaps with intent. 

Corey Moore (2024 OF, Clearwater, FL) showed a very functional swing with his long limbs to create well-struck fly balls with near-perfect consistency. The frame projects for additional strength as these long fly balls will turn into home runs very soon. 

Jean Paul Andrade (2022 1B, San Juan, PR) turns the barrel over to the pull side well with good lift and hit a home run deep to the pull side. He exudes strength through contact and hit the ball in the air nicely. 

Carson Hansen (2022 OF, Pewaukee, WI) took a very consistent round with a loose lefthanded swing to generate good leverage to pull. There's some whip to his hands with plenty of bat speed and really repeats his swing well. 

Michael Lavanga (2023 OF, Alexandria, VA) is a projectable athlete with a controlled, compact swing from the right side. He elevates the ball in the air with plenty of carry and will improve as he fills out. 

Kent (KJ) Moon (2024 3B, Statham, GA) has impressive physicality for a young hitter and showed a full swing path with natural loft to the swing plane. He swings with intent and impacts the ball nicely out in front. 

Peyton Samuels (2022 SS, Lake Worth, FL) shifts into contact nicely with active, loose hands throughout the load. He generates good carry to the pull side and showed good feel for the barrel with consistency. 

Ryan Zuckerman (2023 SS, Yardley, PA) has a long, lanky frame that allows him to generate good extension and leverage out in front. The swing is functional and the bat speed stands out to posit significant upside. 

Yeniel Laboy (2022 SS, Arecibo, PR) gets his front side down on time and has an easy, repeatable swing that shows off his loose hands. Laboy gets good extension out in front of the plate and turns the barrel over effectively to pull. 

Adrian Rodriguez (2022 SS, Salinas, PR) showed a controlled, short stroke from the right side with fast hands and a direct path to contact. He has a good line drive approach and meets the ball out in front with consistency. 

Adrian Salas Rivera (2022 C, Aguadilla, PR) has fluidity in his swing path and a line drive approach as he gets the barrel head out nicely. The bat speed stands out and he can hit it for some power to pull. 

Joshua Bussey (2023 OF, Garner, NC) is an athletic swinger with plenty of righthanded bat speed as he generates really good extension out in front. He creates a good amount of carry when squared with a consistent swing.

3-Gold vs. 4-Gray Game Highlights

Caden Spivey (2022 RHP, Soperton, GA) was impressive during his three innings of work, running his fastball up to 91 mph and striking out seven hitters along the way. The athletically built right-hander incorporates a simple delivery, repeating well and showcasing the ability to command his three-pitch mix. Slider is best secondary at present with late, sharp tilt that garnered tons of swings-and-misses. Spivey also added a line drive single at the plate. 

Dearl Edens (2022 RHP, Clearwater, FL) showed intriguing upside throughout his three innings of work, running his fastball up to 84 mph with exploding life through the zone. The strongly built right-hander mixed in a 11-5 shaped curveball for strikes, manipulating the depth to it effectively. The uncommitted 2022 Grad allowed just one hit and struck out five hitters along the way. 

Todd Hudson (2022 OF, Lexington, SC) followed up his monster batting practice display by scorching a line drive single to left centerfield in game action. The long, lean primary outfielder has an innate ability to delivery the barrel on time and extend well through contact. 

Mason Johnson (2023 3B, Hueytown, AL) was impressive on the defensive side of the ball, ranging well to both sides and making several tough plays look easy. The athletically built third baseball has above average arm strength and a solid hit tool at the plate. 

 

 


11-Royal vs. 13-Orange Game Highlights

1/23/2021

Luke Gouldthorpe (2023 RHP, Lowry, VA) struck out eight of the ten batters faced in three strong innings of work. Utilizes a three pitch mix and comes from deceptive high 3/4 arm slot that fooled hitters throughout.

Omar Lopez (2022 OF, Orlando, FL) showed the ability to hit the ball hard to the opposite field scorching a loud double over the right fielders head in his only at bat of the game.

Gerardo X Santana (2022 LHP, Dorado, PR) utilizes a cross-fire delivery throwing three hitless innings in the start. Flashed good bite to the slider and kept hitters off balance throughout.

Carlos Gonzalez (2023 1B, Spring Hill, FL) struck out four batters in one inning on the mound working both sides of the plate effectively and filling up the zone in one inning of relief work.

 


7-Navy vs 8-Orange Game Highlights

1/23/2021

Miles Curley (2022 MIF, Largo, FL) found the barrel a couple times and showed the ability to go the other way. Drove an inside the park home run in the right center gap.

Justin Trott (2023 C, Glencoe, IL) showed an oppo-field approach with some pop. Hit an RBI double.

Jamaliel Rosado (2002 SS, Orlando, FL) Florida International commit has a tall athletic frame. Showed a good two-strike approach. Aggressive on the base paths. Smoked a 2-run double to the left field fence.

Dylan Mass (2022 OF, Franklin, WI) had two hits on the day. Hustle double on a ball into the right center gap.

Chase McKelvey (2023 3B, Saint Helena, SC) was 2 for 2 on the day including a two out two-strike rbi single. Gets down the mound well with hard running life to a fastball that was up to 86mph. Curveball flashed really sharp at times. Great bite with swing and miss potential.

Ben Moore (2022 LHP, Mount Airy, MD) long and lean with a controlled and balanced delivery. Fastball was up to 89mph. Firm slider up to 81mph, that showed good tilt and late bite. Changeup has late fade. Solid three pitch mix with tremendous upside.


9-Purple vs. 10-Red Game Highlights

1/23/2021

Roberto Alberto Costas (2022 RHP, Ponce, PR) showed intriguing arm speed during his three innings on the mound. Displayed a simple delivery with repeatable mechanics and good usage of his lower half. Fastball worked in the 81-83 mph range for most of his outing and topped out at 85 mph. Mixed in sharp slider with hard, late bit and the ability to land it for strikes. 

Derick Bonilla (2022 SS, Yauco, PR) showed consistent bat-to-ball skills and present bat speed throughout the game, producing multiple well-struck line drives including a standup double. 

Felix J. Torres (2022 OF, Orocovis, PR) had a monster game with a double and triple in two trips to the plate. The uncommitted primary outfielder implores simple, repeatable mechanics to go along with advanced bat-to-ball skills and present bat speed. 

Jouseph Gelpi (2022 RHP, Toa Alta, PR) was extremely efficient throughout his three innings on the mound. The compactly built right-hander worked in the low-80s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 84 mph in this look with heavy arm-side run. Gelpi showed the ability to command both sides of the plate effectively, using all four quadrants to strike out three hitters along the way. Showed developing feel for a cutter that flashed sharp horizontal tilt and replicated arm speed. Also showed intriguing two-way potential by collecting two hits in the game.

Micah Takac (2022 RHP, Macon, GA) flashed a four pitch mix and the ability to fill up the strike zone dominating in three hitless innings of work, striking out six. Works efficiently and deliberately on the mound working all four quadrants of the strike zone.

Adam McGee (2022 RHP, Belleville, IL) utilizes a big frame, working downhill and running the fastball up to 85. Ball jumps out of the hand and posseses a heavy fastball limiting hard contact throughout.

Kayden Faulcon (2023 RHP, Yardley, PA) made loud contact to the pullside both times at bat, displaying power potential and quick hands in the batters box. 

Kent (KJ) Moon (2024 3B, Statham, GA) filled up the zone in a hitless inning of relief work showing off a good arm for the age. Went the other way down the right field line for a double as well in his only time up at bat.

Luis J Perez (2022 RHP, Sabana Seca, PR) worked deliberately, striking out seven in three strong innings of work. Utilizes a late cutting the fastball and the ability to command it to both sides of the strike zone, as well as a curveball with good depth to it.

Silas Shaffer (2022 C, Mount Vernon, KY) the primary catcher, showcased a quick arm on the mound and a fastball that jumps out of his hand, maintaining velocity in the mid 80s and running it up to 88. Flashed a good feel for the breaking ball with 12-6 tilt to it as well.

Yeniel Laboy (2022 SS, Arecibo, PR) displayed an athletic frame in the batters box and quick hands. Creates nice leverage with his swing path that creates plus power potential.

Jose Miguel Rodriguez (2022 SS, Coamo, PR) made loud contact on a shot back up the middle showing an ability for finding the barrel of the bat. Also, displayed plus instincts and speed on the base paths
