4-Orange vs. 5-White

8/8/2026

Hudson Ritchey (2028 OF, Brookhaven, GA) showed the feel to impact one-hopping the wall in right field for an automatic double. The left-handed hitter leverages well with some bat speed from a compact hand path.

Jackson Diamond (2028 RHP, Johns Creek, GA) impressed on the mound, running the fastball up to 83 that played well at the bottom of the zone. Paired it with a curveball with 12-6 shape and can get more 11-5 shape as he works more glove-side. Showed good feel to consistently work down in the zone with the mix.

5-White vs. 3-Navy Game Highlights

8/8/2026

Jack Farrell (2028 C, Suwanee, GA) got a good swing off and sent one into right-center field for a double. Rotational swing with some feel to turn and sits on the backside with length out front to create some impact.

Caldwell Emery (2029 OF, Knoxville, TN) continued the hot hitting adding another double and drove in an RBI in game. The LHH uses a flat bat plane with feel for the barrel with a direct hand path. Showed some feel to create whip to the barrel and to work from gap-to-gap.

Christian Evans (2029 OF, Lawrenceville, GA) also came through adding a pair of doubles, including one that bounced over the wall in center field and another down the line in left field. Showed the feel to create pull-side impact and developing feel to work from gap-to-gap from the left-side of the plate.

4-Orange vs. 3-Navy Game Highlights

8/8/2026

Preston Cannon (2029 SS, Milner, GA) got the game started in a big way with an automatic double over the left field wall for a double. Does well going down and lifting with solid barrel whip. Feel to impact when the barrel gets out front.

Caldwell Emery (2029 OF, Knoxville, TN) showed the barrel control collecting two hits, including an RBI double to left-center field. The left-handed hitter uses a flat bat plane with feel for the barrel with a direct hand path. Showed some feel to create whip to the barrel and to work from gap-to-gap.

Wyatt Arrington (2029 1B, Sharpsburg, GA) showed off the power upside belting a line drive to the left field wall for a triple. Physical frame with strength present and solid power upside. Loud contact with feel to get the barrel out and strength through the hands.

Michael Scheetz (2029 C, Canton, GA) showed the power upside belting a double into the pull-side gap. Uses a flat bat plane with a line drive approach and showed feel to work from gap-to-gap.

Landon Murr (2028 RHP, Marietta, GA) showed the upside on the mound, running the fastball up to 83. The right-handed pitcher paired the fastball with a curveball in the low- 70s that had 11-5 shape and tighter spin. Showed the feel for the curveball and was able to flip it in the zone consistently.

1-Green vs. 2-Maroon Game Highlights

8/8/2026

Gavin Beddingfield (2027 RHP, Culleoka, TN) showed the upside on the mound, running the fastball up to 83 and showed feel to spin a slider up to 2500 RPM. The slider had 10-4 shape with shorter two-plane break. Flashed a change-up in the mid- 70s that had some arm-side fade. The right-handed pitcher showed some feel to work north-south around the glove side half of the plate.

Colton Whitman (2028 RHP, Newnan, GA) showed off the arm talent and upside, running the fastball up to 87. The right-handed pitcher mixed in a curveball with 11-5 shape and solid vertical break that he could land in zone well. Mixed in a good change-up with late arm-side fade. Feel for the mix and to pitch backwards.

Elijah Vega (2027 OF, Waxhaw, NC) showed the feel to spin and the arm talent on the mound. The fastball ran up to 89 with good spin and ride through the zone. Paired it with a curveball with 11-5 shape and tight shape and spin.

Elijah Curtis (2029 OF, Loudon, TN) showed off the power upside and feel to work the backside gap, belting a triple into right-center field gap. Showed strength in the hands with flat hands and a direct hand path. Simple operation with some feel to create carry.

Barrett Olejnik (2028 C, Peachtree Corners, GA) showed the feel to impact and drive the ball, driving one off the wall in left field for a triple. Flat bat plane with lift in the finish and can create backspin to the pull-side. Also ran the fastball up to 81 on the mound.

Dheer Patel (2029 3B, Marietta, GA) showed the strength in the frame lacing one to left field for a double that got to the wall. Creates lift in the swing with a slightly uphill bat plane. Good power upside with strength through the hands.

3-Navy vs. 5-White Game Highlights

8/9/2026

Owen Shipley (2028 C, Calhoun, GA) had a nice showing on the mound, working in the low 80s and topping out at 84. Shipley should continue to add velocity over the next couple of years, and he spins the fastball well around 2300. The breaker has sharp action and he works it well low in the zone.

Brandon Sims (2028 OF, Simpsonville, SC) had a good showing over two innings of work, running the fastball up to 81 with two clean innings. The fastball showed solid run to it, and Sims worked with a clean delivery and athleticism.

4-Orange vs. 3-Navy Game Highlights

8/9/2026

Christian Evans (2029 OF, Lawrenceville, GA) was impressive on the mound for the navy squad, running the fastball up to 84 with tons of run to the arm side. The changeup also had a lot of fade, and the slider worked with sharp action versus both righties and lefties. Evans also hammered a double in this one, showing off the hit tool as well.

Dwight Jones (2029 SS, Tyrone, GA) had an impressive swing early in this one, sending one on a line into right field for a double. Jones has a lanky frame with a swing that works to all fields, and he projects to add on more strength down the road.

Tyler Groff (2028 OF, Marietta, GA) had a good showing of stuff on the hill, working around the low 80s and topping out at 83. Groff has a lanky frame with plenty of room to grow, and I'd expect his velocity to continue to tick upwards.

2-Maroon vs. 1-Green Game Highlights

8/9/2026

Finn Vandegraft (2028 C, Douglasville, GA) got the start for the green squad, working right around the 78-80 range with a little arm side run to it. Vandegraft has an efficient delivery, and was able to tally two strikeouts in the first inning.

Dheer Patel (2029 3B, Marietta, GA) had a nice swing in the bottom of the first, hammering on into left for a double. Patel has a simple operation at the plate with solid strength out front.

Truett Hardy (2027 2B, Woodstock, GA) had a nice game at the plate, notching two extra base hits in a 3-3 effort. Hardy has feel for the barrel to all fields, and the speed plays up in games.

David (Brack) Creech (2028 OF, Raleigh, NC) had an impressive swing in this one, launching a fastball deep to right for a homer. Creech has plenty of strength out front, and he handles the inside pitch well.

Leo Guollo (2028 3B, Woodstock, GA) had a good swing in the top of the fourth, staying with an outside pitch and shooting it into the gap for a double. The swing works well to all fields, and he was able to sit back on this pitch long enough.
