Batting Practice Highlights

1/31/2026

Mikey Batiste (2028 OF, Mississauga, ON) showed off prodigious power from both sides of the plate, while exhibiting a low-effort stroke with easy bat speed and adjustability. He used his levers well to create impact out in-front and just absolutely blistered baseballs in every way during the event. 

Jalen Jacob (2027 1B, Maple, ON) impressed with his electric bat speed and immense strength throughout his round. The left-handed hitting first baseman creates loud impact to the pullside with ease, while engaging his lower half and has a real feel for the barrel. 

Rohan Persad (2028 SS, Toronto, ON) showed off the added strength in his frame by impacting the baseball with authority from gap-to-gap.The 2028 two-way talent implores a slightly lofted stroke with good lower half engagement and whip to his barrel. 

Kole Dunnett (2028 OF, Port Perry, ON) was on the barrel quite a bit during his round. He uses a simple lofted stroke with quickness to his hands and some feel for the barrel.He stays inside the baseball and impacts it with authority. 

Teo Contardi (2028 C, King City, ON) was consistently on the barrel throughout his round, as he implored a simple stroke with good barrel awareness and quickness to his hands. 

Julian Boynton (2028 2B, Bolton, ON) took one of the more impressive rounds of the day, as the left-handed hitting second baseman peppered line drives from gap-to-gap.He stays compact and direct with his stroke, and displayed plenty of present bat speed. 

Aryan Pandey (2029 SS, Markham, ON) took a consistent round, while showcasing strength at impact and budding power potential. He used his lower half well to create leverage out in-front and has plenty of present bat speed. 

Drew Doyle (2027 LHP, Sharon, ON) used the entire field well throughout his round, while displaying some present bat speed and feel for the barrel. He stays compact and direct with his stroke. 

Cole Hales (2028 OF, Toronto, ON) impressed with his loose, easy stroke throughout his round.He used the entire field, showed feel for the barrel and plenty of present bat speed. 

Nate Rowan (2027 IF, Stouffville, ON) showed off real strength at impact, using his levers extremely well and staying connected throughout the swing process. The power is a real attribute and projects for more as he continues to mature. 

Easton Robinson (2029 OF, Toronto, ON) took a sound round of batting practice, as he stayed on the barrel throughout to produce numerous line drives to all fields. 

 
Live At-Bats Highlights

Easton Robinson (2029 OF, Toronto, ON) caught a fastball on the barrel, driving it towards right field on a line. The 5-foot-9 righty hitter takes a tight turn to the point of contact, delivering a quick and strong barrel.

Preston Koroll (2029 RHP, Newmarket, ON) showed some intriguing stuff on the mound during his two innings of work. The 5-foot-10 right-hander ran his fastball up to 81 mph early on, looking to dot it on the edges of the strike zone. He also mixed in a depthy curveball with some tilt and spin up to 2400 rpm.

Ewan Dahle (2028 C, Cobourg, ON) put a good swing on a fastball, driving it right back up the middle on a line. The 6-foot switch hitter takes a clean path to the baseball, creating consistent contact to the middle of the field. 

Marcus Murdoch (2028 RHP, Whitby, ON) made quick work on the mound, going right after hitters with his heater. The fastball topped out at 77 mph with sneaky carry through the strike zone. He also mixed in a splitter and tight slider that successfully mistimed opposing hitters.

Julian Boynton (2028 2B, Bolton, ON) impacted a fastball well, carrying it towards the right-center gap on a line. The 6-foot lefty hitter creates clean extension and leverage out front, frequently driving baseballs to the pull-side. Boynton added another good barrel to the middle of the field in game three.

Rohan Persad (2028 SS, Toronto, ON) found a loud barrel in game one, driving it towards left field. He turns with plenty of intent and delivers a strong barrel at the point of contact. The 5-foot-11 righty hitter can really do damage to the pull-side when timed up.

Ryan Raymond (2029 SS, Toronto, ON) put a good swing on a fastball, driving it to left field. The 5-foot-11 righty hitter showcased a mature approach in the box with good feel for controlling the barrel throughout the strike zone. Raymond added another loud knock to the middle of the field in game two.

Jacob Lonjak (2027 RHP, Alliston, ON) tossed two quick innings in game two, going right after hitters with his FB/CB pairing. The 6-foot-2 right-hander filled up all four quadrants with his fastball, topping it out at 85 mph. He mixed in a firmer curveball with some tilt to it later in counts.

Ethan Reason (2027 LHP, Stouffville, ON) showed off some dominant stuff on the mound in game two. The uber-projectable 6-foot-5 southpaw ran his fastball up to 88 mph, landing it consistently in the bottom of the strike zone. He also showed impressive feel for spinning a tight slider and locating his splitter beneath the zone.

Shane Nimni (2029 OF, Toronto, ON) got his pitch over the heart of the plate and crushed it towards the left-centerfield gap. The 5-foot-11 lefty hitter has plenty of quickness in the hips and hands, with advanced feel for creating leverage to the opposite field. Nimni added another knock later on in game two.

Kole Dunnett (2028 OF, Port Perry, ON) showed off his barrel skills, sitting on a breaking ball and driving it towards the left-center gap. The 5-foot-10 righty hitter showcased a mature approach in the box with advanced feel for reading spin and adjusting the barrel. Dunnett added another loud barrel later on in game two.

Mikey Batiste (2028 OF, Mississauga, ON) got every bit of a fastball late in game three, smoking it towards the left-center gap. The 6-foot-4 switch-hitter has tons of strength in the hands and barrel, with advanced feel for creating leverage to the middle of the field.

Jalen Jacob (2027 1B, Maple, ON) showed off his strength on multiple occasions during live at-bats, spraying several hard line drives to the pull-side. The 6-foot-3 lefty hitter has tons of evident strength in the barrel with advanced bat speed.

Isaiah London (2027 3B, Scarborough, ON) showed off his strength at the plate with a couple of loud barrels. The 6-foot-3 righty hitter creates effortless bat speed leverage and through the zone, frequently doing damage to the middle of the field.
