Black vs. Columbia Blue Game Highlights

6/1/2025

Maximilian Detrinis (2027 C, Kailua, HI) showed quality stuff on the mound, living in the low-80s and showing four pitches. The mid-70s slider looks like a true swing and miss offering and Detrinis also singled in the game.

5/31/2025

Kupono Barkdull (2027 LHP, Kaneohe, HI) dominated on the mound, throwing three hitless innings with six strikeouts. He showed three pitches and ran the fastball up to 84 mph with very good feel for both the changeup and breaking ball.

Stone Trigg (2027 OF, Las Vegas, NV) showed intriguing stuff on the mound, living in the low-80s. There's good feel for two breaking balls including a sharp slider that he should incorporate more often.

Jadon Anzai (2027 SS, Honolulu, HI) crushed a home run to deep left field in the final inning of the day. Anzai has impressive bat speed with the ability to go yard and is as surehanded as they come with his hands in the infield.

Cove Campas (2027 OF, Makawao, HI) smacked a double down the line in the last inning. Campas is very very strong and is able to generate immense strength at the point of contact.
