Kupono Barkdull is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Kaneohe, HI who attends Kamehameha Schools. Big and physical build with very good present strength. Left handed hitter, sets up slightly open with a hanging front foot timer, strides into contact and gets wide into his swing, got the barrel out front well and was consistent in his timing, has big bat speed and ability to impact the ball, has more lift in there with swing adjustments. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, moves athletically and showed lateral range, changes arm angles well and has big arm strength. Took a turn on the mound, works from a low effort delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, stays under control but still developing the ability to repeat. Fastball topped out at 85 mph to go with a soft big breaking curveball.
