Evan Frangas (2028 LHP, Old Bethpage, NY) struck out three over three strong innings, allowing just a hit on no runs. The left-handed starter worked with a two-pitch mix on the mound, including a fastball that got up to 76. He also mixed in a low-60s curveball.
Colin Steiner (2028 SS, Cornwall On Hudson, NY) delivered a pair of clean innings out of the ‘pen, striking out two while allowing just a hit. Worked the heater up to 82, throwing the offering for strikes, mixing in a high-60s curveball to keep hitters off balance.
Noah Krammes (2027 1B, Hopkinton, MA) entered out of the bullpen and fired off two clean innings, striking out three and failing to allow a run. Ran the fastball up to 82, maintaining 78-80, along with a mid-60s breaking ball.
Lincoln Fournier (2028 SS, Milford, MA) got the barrel out and drove a deep fly ball to left, clearing the fence for a home run. Athletic right-handed swinger with impact present in the barrel, especially to the pull side.
Colton Fultz (2027 LHP, Hummelstown, PA) worked a pair of strong innings in game action, striking out four while showcasing an advanced two-pitch mix. The southpaw ran a lively fastball up to 85, working in a high-60s curveball.
Brady Shuffler (2027 RHP, West Chester, PA) physically stood out on the mound, standing at a well-built 6’5”, 201lbs with room for added weight and power. Shuffler flashed 3 different variations of a fastball: a four-seamer, a 2-seamer, and a cutter, all of which ranged in the low-80s, topping out at 85mph with good extension down the mound.
Haris Cucaj (2026 C, Sparkill, NY) showed off the power for Team Grey, blasting a 2-run home run to left-center field off a higher-velocity arm.
Michael Currier (2028 RHP, Holden, MA) got hold of an inside fastball and drilled a hard home run over the left field wall. The right-handed stick is aggressive early in counts, slashing two hits and producing loud contact on day 1.
Cole Viveiros (2027 SS, Dighton, MA) showed a good feel for spin for Team Maroon. An athletic arm, Viveiros mixed his fastball/curveball combo well, running the high-spinning fastball up to 83mph and pairing it well with a sharp breaking ball that produced swings and misses with both its horizontal and vertical movement.
Xavier Micheli (2028 C, Massapequa Park, NY), an athletic backstop and right-handed bat, lined a hard double to right-center field for Team Maroon, having a solid middle/away approach that translates in-game.
Sean Gaine (2027 SS, St.James, NY) had a good defensive showing for Team Maroon, as he demonstrated good footwork with smooth transfers and a strong arm from both shortstop and third base. While only a handful of hits fell for him, Gaine had a good feel for the barrel and produced solid contact regularly both in game and in batting practice earlier in the day.
Ryan Donahue (2027 RHP, Worcester, MA) struck out four over two hitless innings, showcasing a dynamic pitch mix starting with a fastball up to 81. He showed feel to spin a two-plane breaking ball with late bite.
