Evan Frangas is a 2028 1B/OF/LHP with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Old Bethpage, NY who attends Plainview-Old Bethpage/JFK. Lean build with long levers and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary first baseman, showed feel for the proper footwork around the bag. Clean glove actions with ability to pick the baseball when receiving throws. Can adjust slots on the run. Recorded arm strength up to 82 mph across the diamond. Secondary outfielder, worked through the baseball with longer strides. Creates big extension and whip into a 3/4 slot. One-hop accuracy to his targets. Left-handed batter, starts in a slightly open stance with high and compact hands. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing with good extension out front. Looks to create lift at impact. Impressive bat speed with more power to project for as he continues to add strength. Posted an exit velocity of 90 mph. Excellent student.
