Vincent Cervantes (2023 SS, Lake Balboa, CA) The 2023 grad displayed a smooth, fluid swing path with a linear barrel plane through extension. Utilized a high contact approach that allowed for sharp contact to all fields.
Jayson Gadd (2021 3B, Downey, CA) Gadd showed good balance throughout his swing with a clean, compact hand path to contact. Consistently delivered the barrel to the baseball on time and created sharp contact off the barrel.
Maple Moody (2021 1B, Seattle, WA) The Washington native showed good strength in his swing with the ability to drive the ball to the gaps when squared. The 2021 grad employed a naturally lifted barrel plane that produced good carry off the barrel.
Jorge Romero (2020 C, North Hills, CA) Romero turns the barrel with authority while consistently looked to generated loud contact. Consistently generated sharp contact off the barrel that produced solid back spin and carry to the pull side gap.
Justin Baldwin (2020 1B, Los Angeles, CA) Bladwin generated very good linear shift into contact with his lower half that produced present bat speed and strength through the zone. Looked to attack the baseball with intent and produced very loud contact off the barrel when squared.
Tommy Italia (2021 SS, Glendale, CA) The 2021 grad stays behind the baseball well at contact while looking to generate lift. Generated good carry off the barrel with the strength to split the gaps when squared.
Ethan Felix (2021 C, Redondo Beach, CA) The 2021 catcher displayed quick hands through the zone with good feel for the barrel. Consistently stayed balanced within his swing and worked to all fields.
Orlando Arellano (2020 OF, Spring Valley, CA) The 2020 grad showed a balanced, high contact approach with present bat speed. Consistently generated sharp hard contact with the ability to work to all fields.
Nico Reyes (2021 3B, Murrieta, CA) Reyes looked to employ a mid field approach, but flashed the barrel control to work to all fields as well. Utilized a linear barrel plane flashing good bat speed when on time and squared.
Logan Wendell (2021 OF, Van Nuys, CA) The 2021 grad showed natural strength in his swing with a lifted barrel plane through extension. Creates hard, loud carry to the pull side gap when connecting with the baseball out front.
Sam Hawk (2021 OF, Issaquah, WA) Hawk displayed quick hips when initiating his swing with a direct, compact hand path to the baseball. Utilized a high contact approach that allowed for sharp contact to all fields.
Marcos Contreras (2020 RHP, Fontana, CA) Contreras showed a clean, fluid swing plane through extension with a mid field to pull side approach. Stays balanced throughout his swing with the ability to generate hard contact to all parts of the hitting zone.
Carson Olsen (2021 RHP, Murrieta, CA) The 2021 grad showed good present strength at contact with the ability to drive the gaps with ease. Olsen utilized a naturally leveraged barrel plane that generated easy carry off the barrel when squared.
Armando (AJ) Hurtado (2022 C, Riverside, CA) The 2022 grad showed good hand speed through the zone with solid whip through extension. Consistently delivered the barrel to contact out front generating hard line drives to the middle of the field and opposite field gap.
