This is the 2nd annual Ways to Play powered by MLB & Perfect Game.  The purpose of this collaboration is to have some of the best teams in the country use some different pace-of-play rules in a tournament setting. Past Champions include: East Cobb Yankees (2017)

The following are the rules developed by MLB and will be in effect during the weekend:
1. 9 Inning Games
2. Batters will start with a 1-1 Count
3. Stealing will be permitted
4. Batter MUST keep one foot in the box during his at-bat
5. NO around the horn between outs
6. Maximum of 4 mound visits per game. If a visit results in pitching change, it does not count as a mound visit.
7. If the game is tied after 9 innings, we will start with a runner on 2nd base and nobody out until winning team is decided

Parking:  $5 (LakePoint complex only. This is standard LakePoint Sports policy.)

Games: 4 games guaranteed, weather permitting.

Age Eligibility: 2019 Graduate or younger.

Date of Birth is NOT used for age eligibility for this event.

Bat Type: Wood Bat Only Bat Restrictions

Hotels: All teams are required to book housing through following link Host Hotels

Coolers: Not Allowed

Entry Fee: 1 USD  

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AT ANYTIME AFTER PAYMENT. TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WILL HOLD A CREDIT TO A FUTURE EVENT IF NOTICE OF CANCELLATION IS GIVEN AT LEAST 3 WEEKS PRIOR

Format:

- 18 Teams

- 6 Pools of 3

- Teams will play 2 pool play games.

- Pool winners ONLY will advance to single elimination bracket play.

- Playoff teams will be seeded 1-6, based on PG Tie Breaker Rules.

- Playoff teams that are eliminated prior to their 4th game, will be scheduled a pre-determined consolation game.

- Teams that do not make bracket play will be scheduled pre-determined consolation games to get to their 4th game.
