There is a lot of chatter going on in the Mid Atlantic about PG Super 25, which is the region’s new tournament program. All amateur baseball teams will have the opportunity to become the No. 1 team in their region and represent that region in the Perfect Game Super25 National Championship. The Perfect Game Super25 mission is simply to keep baseball a "Team Sport" for decades to come. By keeping teams together from the qualifying tournaments, through the regional tournaments and onto the championships, the Perfect Game Super25 emphasizes team commitment, integrity, chemistry and the reward of winning as a team. By bringing the region together we want new teams to see new faces and create new matchups that were not created before. With that said, the Mid Atlantic region is proud to announce the inaugural 13U pre-season rankings and honorable mentions.

John McAdams’ Projected Region Representative: Chester County Bobcats
My pick is the Chester County Bobcats. It seemed like every 12U tournament that I witnessed, this team from Pennsylvania was in the championship game. With strong pitching and a wall behind home plate. This team seems like it can withstand the grind of this new tournament series.
Gary Wilson’s Projected Region Representative: Arena Starz
My pick is the Arena Starz. I have seen this program play for years and they have never ceased to excite me. With their high power offense and impactful pitching, I look forward to seeing these guys play late in tournaments and get a shot at the crown.
Impact Matchup: #2 CP Stars vs #4 Chester County Bobcats
These tow teams are both in the top 5 of the pre-season team rankings. In the past few years they have showed a lot of talent and a sense of how to play the game. Pitching and defense is going to win ball games at the 13u level and that is what these two teams have in common. It is going to be a lot of fun seeing these guys match up and I am sure the game will be nail biting all the way to the end.
